Health inspector, to the rescue!!!

I've been at the place yesterday and the Sunday before, and I would absolutely not recommend it. I was feeling fine when I arrived both times, but that drastically changed after I ate. The first time, I lost my appetite after eating a few bites from my plate and, thinking I was coming down with a stomach virus, left without finishing my meal. I decided to try my luck again a week later, and managed to finish a few plates, but was victimized by foodborne illness as a result. I spent the rest of the day drinking lots of fluids to rehydrate and could not eat anything solid until the following morning. I don't know why I left them a tip each time I came! The $25 I spent there was an utter waste of money and I consider myself lucky I didn't have to go to the hospital, which could have cost me far more. Boycott this place! Allegheny County Department of Health, close them down!!!

• Cons: Unsanitary food handling.

Not a good place to eat cuz the bad old type smell...

The place as soon you walk in you can smell the bad odor from carpet. The place is too close..not good ventilation...the walls and ceiling are horrible..wallpaper old and coming out..stains...seat and tables old..I notice some of them broke...I went for the first time and last one......just the smell and looking at the place...they need to make new changes...if someone wants to try go ahead be my guess...but don't do what we did...look around first and open your nostrils...then you decide if you want to eat there or not...not problem w/ the food but you want to enjoy your food and w/the smell you can't....I hold it because the kids kept saying they were hungry...

Belly up to an Asian buffet, worthy of the hungriest appetite.

The Scene
Groups of office workers visit regularly for lunch, while dinner is frequented by hungry families. Interior design is nondescript, but who cares as long as the steam tables are full.

The Food
There is a wide assortment of dishes (at least 20) on any given day. Standards include General Tso's chicken, broccoli beef, cashew chicken and Szechwan pork, as well as noodle dishes, egg rolls and dumplings. There is also beef vegetable soup, fried potatoes and hot dogs with bacon. Dishes are added for dinner, including shrimp cocktail, spare ribs, steamed crawfish and kung pao squid.

Good Picks
The broccoli beef is good here, as is the sesame chicken. The Szechwan pork is satisfying and exceptionally spicy, especially in a buffet setting. And save room for some warm, sugary Chinese doughnuts for dessert.
