COCKROACK IN MY CHICKEN AND VEGETABLES!!!. Me and my girlfriend where both in the mood for chinese but it was midnight on a monday so i figured my chances on finding a decent chinese joint where slim but a quick google search brought Liangs to my attention which said open till 1 a.m. Cant get any better right.

So i give mr. liang a call and order 2 large orders of chicken and vegetables and an egg roll which has been my chinese order since i was about 7 years old no matter what chinese restaurant i went to my order was always chicken and vegetables. so you can say i know what to expect when ordering it.

Well we can say this time it was...different. First of all after placing my pick up order Mr.liang told me to call him back when i arrived at the front door so that he could unlock it. So i call him when im outside i give him about $23 he gives me the food which is tied up nice and tight in a plastic smiley face have a nice day bag..i walk to the car hand the food to my girlfriend she sets it on her lap and we drive home.

Once we get home i tear open the bag grab 2 clean dishes then open up a container of chicken and veggies then sit down and go to town. About half way through my plate my girlfriend screams i look at her and she quickly swipes her hand to her mouth and then towards her plate and says what is that? That my friends is what you call a cockroach, about 2.5 inches long and about a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch wide. Needless to say the biggest piece of meat in the whole order!!!. MMM

So after a few minutes of my head in the toilet i give Mr.liang a call and ask when his most recent health inspection was and he didnt have an answer for me so i told him about the little surprise i found and he said that if i brought it down he would give me a refund. So back to the car and back to liangs. I show him the food with the desguting cockroach and Mr.liang now with a very uneasy attitude and look on his face asked me if i happened to put my food down anywhere before i ate it? Shocked that he would try to blame the incedent on my behalf. i grabbed the food from the counter and put it back in the back and tied it up and attempted to leave. That is when mr. liang offered me the cash refund but under one condition as long as i leave the food with bug with him he would give me my refund. So i asked why he needed to keep the bug and he said he wanted to run "tests" on it. At that point i said forget it you keep my money and ill keep the roach but i can assure you this wont be the last time you hear from me and walked out the door jumped in my car attempted to pull out of the spot when i was greeted by mr. liang this time he gave me my money and said he was sorry.

PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE FOR ANY REASON!

Really Good Chinese Food!. I love Chinese food, and this place really makes Chinese food the way it should be. Last week I ordered General Tso's, 2 egg rolls and some lo mein for my girlfriend. The Tso's chicken had a really good flavor, and just the right amount of crisp and spice. The egg rolls were fantastic with the duck sauce, and my girlfriend really liked her lo mein. I definatly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good meal!

Horrendous excuse for Chinese food. I have never written a review for a restaurant before, but I was so appalled by the service and the food from this place that I couldn't resist. I ordered takeout online, and the food finally came after calling the restaurant 3 times to find out what was taking so long. The first two times, the man on the other end was snippy and rushed me off the phone with a huffy "On the way, on the way." I have never had to scold someone over the phone before but the third phone call I was forced to demand a refund if the food was not received soon. Magically, the food showed up after I told the guy I wanted my money back, and I opened up my carton of chicken lo mein and it was all onion, celery and mushrooms. The noodles were the slimiest, most disgusting noodle I'd eaten in my life, but I was so hungry and angry that I choked them down anyway (trying hard not to gag).

Such a disappointment. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from Liang's again, and I discourage anyone from doing so in the future.

It's like I died and went to China! Mouth-Watering.. I order from Liang's every time I'm up late studying. I never really liked Chinese food until I started eating from this place, just thinking about their food makes my mouth water. The dumplings are spectacular, the Tso's Chicken will blow your mind, and the Sweet and Sour Chicken is more tasty than a $40 steak! Just came on to say, you haven't eaten Pittsburgh Chinese food unless you've had Liang's.

Chinese Cuisine? You better believe it!. I've eaten at this place four times so far, and each time it gets better and better! Their eggrolls are so good, and their General Tso's Chicken is to die for! Eat here, you won't regret it! I got my friends to start coming too and they like it. I promise you, this place will put you in for a treat!

Absolute Best Chinese Food.. I started ordering from this place last spring, mainly because they're the only Chinese place that's open so late. Everything I've ordered so far has been so Delicious, but after trying the Beijing Duck, I just had to go on a website and talk about this place! They're so darn good!

I Actually Cried When I Ate it. I ordered from Liang's Hunan, and it was, without a doubt, the worst food experience I have ever been a part of. I'm pretty sure that after eating the dried up sludge they try to pass as crab rangoons, I have lost bits of my soul that I can never retrieve.

Usually, I go to Taiwan Cafe in Oakland during the day (the BEST Chinese food!) or use How Lee in Squirrel Hill for delivery, another fine option. However, both were closed when I got home last night, so I thought "Huh. Liang's Hunan...never heard of it, but it's the only option that's not 5,000 pizza places." I should;ve gotten the pizza...I should've eaten what I had at home. Heck, I would rather eat a fungus and dirty sock sandwich with a warm glass of Lighter Fluid than eat this garbage again. Honestly, how is this place still in business? We need to, as a society, inform the Better Business Bureau- or maybe even the FBI, because I'm pretty sure Liang's Hunan has broken several international laws in what they peddle as "authentic Chinese cuisine."

If you are thinking to yourself "Man. Only the naysayers come on sites like this. It's late, no place is open; I'll just give them a call," please take your phone, did it in battery acid, sprinkle with woodchips, and chow down. I guarantee a better experience than what you would get at Liang's Hunan.

Worst chinese food in my whole life. I do not how to say this, it is so bad~~~~~~ It is the first time I leave out the chinese place hungry. In generally, the dish is overpriced and the food is awful! We went for dinner and ordered combination combination laomian. It is served cold and tastes sour. From the color of the noodle and the vegetable, you know it is from leftover. I believed it is the leftover from their lunch buffet and they just put it in the microwave.

Even just the white rice tastes weird. (How the white rice can be steamed wrong????) It tastes like it went bad. I do not know when they cook that or how long they leave them outside. I could not have another spoon of that.

And the onion beef, the meat or sauce taste so odd. I did not eat anything.

We sat like 5 minutes and left. I really do not want to stay there longer. The lesson learned is that I will never ever go back to that place again!!!

-_- Definitely, man -_-. ...i called these dudes TWO minutes before closing-time, on a sunday, man...and they still (happily) brought me an awesome meal all the way from downtown (i live in Bloomfield). im not suggesting anyone make it a habit of callin these cats at the last minute, but, the last thing a work-worn stoner needs to hear at one in the morning is, " sorry were closing soon". and these guys wont dissapoint.

------- Munchie says, Dig-in, man ! so Munchie has written, so it should be done !! -_-

BETTER OFF STARVING. curry chicken -- wasn't curry chicken, tasted like bologna!! hot sour soup -- tasted only like black pepper string beans -- the best thing, but like everything else -- delivered cold i should have listened to the other reviews, but it was the only place that delivered

it was similar to ordering a pizza and having them deliver a microwave pizza.

totally SUX!!
