Great neighborhood bar and grill. The waitresses are friendly and timely, there is a nice selection of beer, and the food isn't bad. I'm not a fan of their pizza but the burgers are excellent! This is a fun Pittsburgh bar with a front deck that you can sit out on in the summer and spring. I love meeting friends at Ryan's. You can also reserve their deck for parties.

Ryan's is a great place to go and hang our with friends the food is good, the service fast, the people are nice, and there is always something entertaining going on.
Pros: Karaoke, food, dart board and plenty of Televisions.
Cons: Can get crowded on Karaoke night.

I was speachless last night when I recieved my check for a mediocre dinner at Ryan's Pub and Grill on Braddock Avenue. The waitress added a 20% gratuity for some of the most ordinary bar food that I have ever ordered. The burgers were bland; the French Onion soup a mixture of cheese, croutons, and sparse on the broth, Beers were expensive. What should have been an inexpensive dinner added up to more than 70.00 - before a compulsery 20% gratuity was added on! It appears that this arrangement might be the only way for the wait staff get any tip at all after the guest chokes on the shockingly high total of the check. There are much better places out there . . . pass by Ryan's quickly!
Cons: Mediocre food; high prices; gratuity added to check

I had heard of Ryans pub and was in the neighborhood so decided to try it. The food is ok, but the prices are outrageous, misleading and then you get the whopper of twenty percent automatically added to your tip. The atmosphere has a lot to be desired, especially for the price you have to pay. If you want to empty your wallet, head to a steak house. If you want to be soaked, come on in to Ryan's. The french fries were kind of soggy too.

Four of us went to the Ryan's pub yesterday. All ordered regular bar food (burgher etc.) Two of us had the soup. They charged 4 dollars for the soup while on the menu it said add soup for only $1.99! Charge 6 dollars 50 cents for each glass of beer. And one of my friend paid his own bottle of beer at the beginning, but it showed again in the bill! Worst of all, the waitress added 20% gratuity fee directly on the bill!. This is outragously robbery. It cost 80 plus dollars for some burghers in the end. Be cautious!

Went to Ryan's last night... Had myself a pourly poured (no head whatsoever) six dollar pint of Guiness with my sandwich. Got the bill afterwards...F-in Highway Robbery!!! Go down the street to any number of places and save some dough!
