Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Not Worth the Price. For the high price I was expecting much more. Although the bedding was upscale, the bathrooms were less than impressive, and parking was outrageous, $24 a night. Although they boast complimentary pick-up service within 5 miles, they didn't mention that it ends at 11 p.m. Considering we were visiting for a 21st birthday party this was not helpful. The staff was unfriendly and trite.

WORST hotel I EVER stayed in!. My friend and I took our two year old sons to see The Wiggles and decided to stay at this hotel mainly because it offered free shuttle to the arena we were going to. Everything was fine up until the shuttle was supposed to pick us up, We waited outside the arena on hard concrete with no food or drinks and a two year old and 20 month old for an HOUR and A HALF! This hotel also charged us $20 to park there and the "CONTINENTAL" breakfast was $11. All 4 restaurants this hotel boasts about were open by the time we got back, it was only 6:30. The pizza parlor was only open in the morning because I guess people in Pittsburgh only eat pizza in the morning. They made it impossible to get food other than room service. We were given $30 towards room service, nice but us just ordering a cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, and chicken nuggets for the boys (no drinks or any type of dessert) it was $60, defnitely didn't expect that expense. Neither did we expect we would have to pay to park at this hotel that we were paying for. Thankfully we brought food for breakfast because the "continental" breakfast which is free anywhere else I had ever stayed, cost $11 and all it consisted of was cereal, yogurt, and bagels. We also had called down to get a bed rail that they specifically listed in their guest services book for my friends son and at first they weren't even aware they offered them and then we waited 35 minutes for them to bring it up. I just couldn't believe that the manager we were given to talk to tried to make excuses for the shuttle service and could only offer us a $30 off our room service for waiting an hour and a half with toddlers on a 55 mph road! Definitely will not be staying there again!

Heavenly!!!. My Husbsnd and I live in central NY and have been coming to Pittsburgh for sporting events approximately 7 years now, at least 2-3 times a year. Our first experience was at the Doubletree, (now the Westin) and we were extremely impressed by the quality, service, and price. Since then we have stayed all over the city, always coming back to what is now the Westin Convention Center. We have also traveled all over the country

staying in various hotels, and we both agree that nothing compares all around to the Westin Convention Center in Pittsburgh. The beds, the shower, the service, the food, the price, the view from up high, the whole experience is great and I would recommend it to everyone!!

Great Business Accomdations. I think this is the nicest hotel in the city, I have stayed at the other high end hotels in town, and this is my favorite. The hotel is clean and seems to be newly renovated. The Beds are wonderful, and the dual shower head in the bathroom feels great. It is so nice to have a large terry robe in the room. WHAT A GREAT FITNESS CENTER, they even give you work out clothes. Room service was better than many fine dining establishments, loved medallions of beef and the best mashed potatoes ever. The hotel van drivers make it very easy to get around. I stayed at this hotel when it was a Doubletree and it was nice. But of the hotel as a Westin is really first class.

What a BED and Bath!!!!. This hotel is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly and accomdating. The quality of the food and service is way above average in my opinion. The addition of the Heavenly bed, is WOW, I was a skeptic about the BED and Bath, but I am now a believer in the Westin Brand of service. The rooms are a little out of date, (I was told that they will begin renovations shortly) however the room was very large and comfortable. A robe in the room was a really nice addition and the room was so clean. I am a Starwood Prefered Guest and I LOVE this program and it's benefits. Overall I would say that this is a great hotel with very good service and nice rooms. After the updates this hotel will be EXCELLENT in my opinion. I really enjoy my stays in Pittsburgh.
