Unique, Beautiful, Memorable

I received a gorgeous flower arrangement from Hepatica upon moving to a new home. The selection of unique flowers and lovely design was like none I had ever seen, and it was breathtaking. Like a painting you love, the flowers were something you wanted to look at and enjoy again and again. Moreover, the flowers lasted on and on, allowing us to really enjoy the arrangement for longer than usual. Like most other people, I am extremely busy and do not have any time to rate products and services. In this single case, however, Hepatica stands out as a one-in-a-million business with that "something special" that we all look for but almost never find. I have absolutely no doubt that whoever receives one of their unique and beautiful arrangements will feel very special.

Professional floral artists and they always come through

I have called for flowers to be sent on several occasions now and once again the recipient of flowers from Hepatica is raving. This from a friend who I had wanted to thank:

"The unusual combination of colors and textures and types of flowers works -- salmon-colored roses, purple (!) roses, red poppies, magenta orchids, green and navy and dark orange winter berries, two small yellow sunflowers (or largish black-eyed Susan), dark red leaves, dark green leaves, and a delicate ivory flower that I recognize but whose name I can never remember. The arrangement is breathtaking. And it's all contained in a 4-5 inch cube so it fits perfectly on my desk."

Best Flower Service In Pittsburgh

Best flowers and service in Pittsburgh ~ this is not a "flower shop", they are floral designers. Artists. Called in a panic for a funeral spray from NYC, asking for something very specific, and they did exactly what I wanted over the phone. Just beautiful. Simple and touching, with just the details I had asked for. Delivered to the funeral home here in Pittsburgh on time (actually early) so I could see them before the service. I spoke with Jerry, who was just lovely and understanding considering the situation I was in calling from another state. They provided a very touching tribute for my beloved uncle at his burial service, and I couldn't have been more pleased. No "filler" flowers, either. Only the best from the best. Cannot recommend them enough, and so close, just in the heart of Regent Square. My thanks to all at Hepatica for their warmth and understanding, and the amazing arrangement at my most difficult time.

unbelievably creative

I have been receiving a fresh flower arrangement once a week from Hepatica for several years. I am amazed at each and every one- they all are unique, creative, in a word, fabulous. EVERYONE comments on them. Each of the over 100 arrangements has been unique, with amazing flower, long lasting orchids, an artichoke or two--- you would not believe how they come up with a wonderful new design each time. I give their flowers as gifts regularly, and they are always stunning.

Great innovative florist

Hepatica did my flowers for my wedding a number of years ago. They were beautiful &extremely creative and I got a ton of compliments on them. Rachel the owner was exceptionally nice to me even though I did tend to micromanage. From then on, we used them for Christmas decorations, parties, arrangements, gifts, etc. Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, we would always bring our young son in and he would help decide on the color scheme and motif of our Christmas wreath for the entrance. The designers and sales people were extremely polite and accomodating to our finicky child (contrary to my experience with a number of retailers). They really listen and understand your vision--I've never heard them use the word "no."

To sum it up, fabulous.

Sorry customer service from Hepatica

I am trying to plan a wedding from out of town. I had had several great reviews from people about Hepatica, but was sorely disappointed when I contacted them. Since I am from out of town, I had sent pictures of what I was interested in and was asking them for quotes on pricing. They were extremely rude and thought that I was uninterested in truly planning for my own wedding. How appalling and presumptuous that is. I cannot afford to fly in every weekend to pick everything. I have done my legwork and have not had such poor customer service from any of the other vendors that I have contracted for services for my wedding. I come from a retail environment and would never dream of treating anyone the way I was treated. It does not matter if you have a superior product if you have inadequate and snooty customer service.

Best florist in Pittsburgh

Hepatica did the flowers for my wedding. They did an outstanding job. The flowers made such a statement in a huge reception area. The flowers were one of my favorite parts of my wedding. When I was planning my wedding, I had several meetings at Hepatica and they were always creating very unique and fabulous centerpieces and bouqets. They are great to work with. They will keep a file of your likes and dislikes so each time you need flowers they will arrange them according to your specifications.

Wonderful Arrangements and Service

When my daughter died, only seven and a half months old, I was devastated. We were fortunate to receive more flowers than we knew what to do with. I can honestly say that with the deluge we received, the flowers from Hepatica and one other florist are the only ones that stood out as meaningful and lovely.

Most of the time when I answered the door, I took the flowers and put them on any available surface. When I got an arrangement from Hepatica it truly made me feel better, if only for a moment. I have recalled the name since then (almost two years) and I use this florist exclusively now.
