The Scene
Situated on a busy street across from a shopping center, it appears an unlikely candidate for quality comfort food. The comfort is there, both in the traditional foods with a unique twist created by chef Mimi Stutz, and the friendly service.

The Food
Starting with the white bean chicken chili, or any of the creative soups of the day, choices consistently please. Try the ploughman's salad with roasted chicken and red potatoes, the chicken pecan with bourbon sauce, or the chicken with portabello mushrooms.

The Desserts
If you save room for dessert, every homemade sweet I've tried exceeded my expectations. The apple tart ranks high on my list, with its mellow cream sauce.
