Before I could even walk I was in the Poor House. I can't tell you how many countless hours I have spent there listening to music and eatingthe most authentic Irish food in the area. The peolpe are so great and nice and on Thursday nights it's just like being home in Ireland as people walk in and just join in the music. The bar selection has every Irish whiskey avalible in America and with the most prevalent of Irish Beers on tap the hours can just fly by.
- Pros: Everything about it.
- Cons: Nothing
5 Star Pub in Carnegie

We had dinner and cocktails there, and left fully satisfied! Cordial and relaxed atmosphere! Reasonable prices and great Irish food! We're going back tonight!!!
- Pros: Food, drink , price and friendly.
- Cons: Can't think of a one!
Imported whiskeys and draughts are served up in the city's prototypical Irish-American bar.

The Scene
Knicknacks and posters promoting Irish independence adorn nearly every surface of the walls while soccer jerseys hang overhead above the richly carved bar. As if that weren't enough, eight Irish whiskeys, four Irish draft beers and a large selection of Irish creams and liquors further testify to enthnocentric pride. The menu is loaded with hearty meats and stews. Weekends, the sounds of live Irish music and shillelagh tapping fill the air.
Nice Place

This is a great little Irish bar. I used to be a regular there until i moved out of Carnegie. I lived about two blocks away on the same street and it was pretty convenient to get smashed down there. John and John, the bartenders, are pretty nice guys. The will always use your first name(if they know it) and never mess up ur order. The food is awesome, an Irish cuisine, and the beer selection is nice. You could spend hours just looking at all the Irish momentos hanging from the walls, while listening to some live Irish music, by local musicians.
- Pros: Comfortable, Quaint
- Cons: Gets crowded at times, Parking on street
