I have been going to the store for 10 years now and have never once had an issue with prices, service, etc. These guys will bend over backwards to help you out. There set-ups and repair are top of the line. I've had my guitars serviced there well over 40 times. If you live far, its worth the drive, these guys will take care of you!

Pros: Excellent friendly service

Cons: If you aren't a local its tough to find

**WARNING** If you have a GPS unit in your car... good luck finding it. I spent an hour driving up and down the river. It's actually in West Elizabeth, PA at these coordinates. Lat - 40°16'19.62"N (40.272117) Lon - 79°53'52.35"W (-79.897875) The guys at the shop were great. Very helpful, really know their stuff. Their prices are excellent as well... good used selection too. Great Place!

I've been a customer of Jim's Guitar Works for about seven years and have bought half a dozen guitars from Jim and John Relja. I came back to playing again after an absence of 20 years and Jim's also my guitar teacher. I could have found no one better anywhere. Jim's a genius on the guitar, playing any style (I mean any style) with deep musicality and grace. If you hear him play you'll know. These two brothers know guitars: electric, flat top, and archtop. They do top of the line work on anything from a 1930's Martin to a guitar made last week. Their set up and repair work is absolutely top notch and Jim's luthery skills are amazing (ask to see one of his custom built electrics). I will go nowhere else to buy a guitar, get repair work done, or for accessories. I have also sent young players to Jim and John to buy their first or second guitar and they are always thrilled with their purchases. The price and selection is great. You can go wrong with these guys.

Pros: everything

Cons: no cons

I had Jim refret my 1980 Ibanez GB-10, a few months ago. I'm extremely picky about my guitars and wanted only the best work possible. I searched for the best of the best. Finally, by extremely high recommendations, I contacted Jim. I've had quite a few refrets done in the past on other guitars, by other guitar luthiers. I had custom requirements for this one. We discussed the work in great detail and Jim returned a guitar that matched those specs perfectly. He actually did what the customer wanted....imagine THAT! I didn't have to fine tune anything. GREAT JOB!!!!! Jim's work is top notch!!!!! All my future guitar work will go to Jim. Add me to the list of guitar players that will now HIGHLY recommend Jim for the excellent refrets. fused

Been a customer for a bunch of years. Had two excellent re-frets, a great restoration, got great prices on three guitars, an amp, a used bass and a bunch of straps, strings and stuff. They guys stock high quality stuff, sell at bargain basement prices, and provide surprisingly great service.

Pros: Knowledgeable, Great set-up & repair, Personal Service

Excellent refret on my guitar. Guitar plays flawlessly. Extremely low action with no buzzing.
