First of all, Selina Kat and her party, of which I was a member, were present at the restaurant on April 19th--not the 26th! Second, I thought purpose of this site was to rate restaurants, not PATRONS! Getting to the point, which is to review the restaurant--in all fairness, the staff did move us from a very noisy room to a less noisy room (but we were crowded). The waiter worked very hard to make sure that we had all we needed during dinner and did inform us that the bills could not be separated; however, ...I have never seen a bill tallied in such a way in my life! The drinks, meals, and alcohol were all tallied in separate categories--with literal tally marks--so that if 2 people had the same meal, those meals were lumped together. The staff kept repeating that "well, that's our policy" regarding the bill; they were very snooty about it and were not in the least bit interested in helping us to keep from "tying up their table for 6 hours"--which was not true--we were there for only 4 hours--and it would have been 3 had the bill not been the mess that it was. Yes, my brother started the fiasco by telling the owner that "my sister and her boyfriend are doing your job", which then set off the entire round of yelling. I do not condone my brothers' behavior, but I heard the owner yelling before I heard anything else and I was still inside the restaurant by the windows. I believe that the owner used the frustration of our party to escalate the situation (instead of de-escalating it) in order to grandstand and throw her authority around instead of helping to settle the matter. The owner and her mother (?) were not gracious in any respect even before the fiasco began. We spent an awful (yes I mean awful) lot of money that night that I wish the Olive Garden had gotten instead of the Bella Vista. They should have been grateful to have had our business in the first place--the food was tasteless, the appetizers skimpy, and nothing was worth what we paid for it!
Pros: Waiter was good...
Cons: My food was tasteless, seating crowed for larger parties, staff was snooty

We were also dining at Bella Vista on Saturday 4/26/08 and was seated next to Selina Katt and her party. I witnessed the whole episode from beginning to end. I told management that I would go on line and write my side of the story. This party was out of line from the time they walked into this restaurant. I heard them ask for separate checks at the beginning of the night and they were told no, this was not possible on a busy saturday night and furthermore separate checks are not given for parties of 6 or more. I heard the whole table order appetizers and eat them. They argued with each other and then finally two of the men in the party were screaming, one in the dining room and one in the hallway at the management. Mind you there was still a restaurant full of people dining. This was totally unclassy and out of line, you do not act that way in a restaurant. The one guy went outside and punched the front door and repeatedly kept coming back into the restaurant causing a scene until he was told the police were being called. These people were totally out of line and it is not Bella Vista's fault that they did not have enough money to pay their check. They need to consider the group of people they dine out with in the future. I heard them say over and over that they never dined in a large group before. They usually only dine out with 4-5 people. I do not blame the management for asking them to leave their establishment when they were screaming and kicking and disturbing other patrons dinners. I agree, they should consider the Olive Garden in the future, they are not the type of people I would want dining next to me at a restaurant like Bella Vista. You know what they say, there are two sides to every story and obviously Selina Katt and her party was not telling the other side.

My wife, son and I were dining at Bella Vista on Saturday April 26, 2008 and experienced everything that happened with Selina Katt and her party of 13. This group obviously are not experienced diners at FINE DINING ESTABLISHMENTS. I heard the server suggest an APPETIZER PLATTER for the ENITRE TABLE, and the entire table agreed on this and it had plenty more food on the platters than Selina Katt claims. Also, there are not many, if any, restaurants that allow seperate checks on 6 or more diners, not even The Olive Garden. We had a wonderful dinner, all of our dinners had an abundance of taste and the service was excellent . The management could not have been more professional about the entire situation with the Selina Katt's party. I recommend that these type of people continue to go to the Olive Garden so they do not ruin us 'EXPERIENCE FINE DINERS" evening. We will continue to frequent Bella Vista on a regular basis. And we are planning on having Bella Vista host a rehersal dinner this summer and I assure you that we will have a wonderful evening!!!!
Pros: Service, Food, Ambience
Cons: Inexperienced Fine Diners

Our experience at this restaurant was anything but festive. We took our parents for their 40th anniversary, and were expecting excellent views, delicious food and impeccable service. We did not get any of that. We had a party of 14, and we were seated next to another party of 16 who were loud and extremely obnoxious and drunk. We asked the manager to do something, and she "solved the problem" by moving us to another area of the restaurant, rather than confronting the other group. They charged us $70 for two appetizer trays which only had several sticks of fried mozzarella, 4 slices of bruchetta, and 2 miniature crabcakes on them. The meals were barely luke warm, and was not worth the $27 they charged for lasagna. They charged $2.50 per person to cut and serve a cake that we had brought in for the celebration. The worst part of the evening was when we got the bill. They REFUSED to separate the bill into several checks to make it easier for people to pay what they owed. The manager openly suggested that we go to the Olive Garden the next time we wanted to go out to dinner. The manager was RUDE and OBNOXIOUS and left a very sour impression of this establishment. There are much better restauarants who will give you a much better experience. I suggest that you strongly consider another restaurant before spending too much money at Bella Vista for lousy service and unremarkable food.
Pros: NOT ONE
Cons: EVERYTHING

Terrible me and my fiance went there on new years and we went for the view they wouldn't let us reserve a window seat they wouldn't let us wait for a window seat they said it would be hours for one. The hostess was very snooty with us. five minutes after we sat down two couples at window seats left and the two couples behind us got them. I don't like being treated like a child by the hostess, like i didn't notice! the view was terrible from any where but by the window. The place was crowded and loud. the food was terrible my chicken was dry, the sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee. we both couldn't finish are meals. It was way over priced. The Prices on the website are not right its a lot more. The manager asked how are meal was and I told her my chicken was dry she said I'll check with the chef and she never came back. I will never go back. thats my suggestion for everyone!!!
Pros: none
Cons: its teribble and almost ruined my new years!
