The Bangkok Balcony has great food. The acoustics aren't great and we had a little trouble hearing our unassuming waitress, but the food made up for it. My boyfriend had curry (green, I think). He said it was rich and delicious. I had lemongrass noodles and although they were a tiny bit greasy, they tasted great. The crab rangoon was light and sweet. Service was exceptional, the entire staff colaborated to meet every single one of our needs. I paid an astonishing eight dollars for a mango mint mojito (wish I hadn't) and the beer wasn't cheap either, but overpriced alcohol is not unique to this, or any other place in Pittsburgh. Overall, it was an exceptional, medium priced meal. My boyfriend, who up until now claimed he didn't like Thai food, suggested we go back.
Pros: Amazing food
Cons: Loud, especially on a Friday/Sat night
