This is a very small place in the downtown area and can get crowded. You can either dine in or take out. There are a few tables lined up next to the wall. There are about 3 to 4 gravy dishes to choose from and you are given rice and naan. Lunch is priced at about $5.00 (cash only!). The food tasted very ordinary and I didn't like it. You get what you pay for!

Pros: A quick grab for lunch

Cons: very little space to dine in, cash only payment

I consider myself an experienced critic having lived in South Asia for four years and traveling in India and Bangladesh extensively. Srees doesnt have the most exotic Indian food but I would argue that it is the most authentic, except not as spicy. You can alway add more. The price is exceptional ($4.50) for the amount of food you get, and the portions are definitely 'american'. The only true difference between this and what you would get in a small restuarant in India is the amount of rice. At Srees, again the proportions are adjusted for what Americans consider a balanced meal, with a larger meat portion. The tofu is not excellent, not the freshest I have had but still very tasty in the sauce. Chicken is usually the meat serve shying away from red meats like beef and mutton. If you are looking for variety, this is not the place but if you are looking for a genuine Indian meal for the right place, at Srees you cant go wrong.

Pros: Price and Taste

Cons: Lack of Variety
