I've been going to Dean of Shadyside for 2 years now which has added up to about 5-6 haircuts and one color. The people were very friendly and helpful. I was very unsure about whether to get low lights in my hair and had no idea how to pick out the color, but I knew I wanted something different. The stylists took time with me to choose a color I was comfortable with and explained how the coloring process works and what I can do if I didn't like it. It turned out fabulous and I've not yet been dissapointed with a haircut. A bit pricey...that's true, but it's worth it if you value good hair care.
Pros: customer service, experienced personel
Cons: price (depending on your hair-care budget)
