Unless you are a 50+ year old woman seeking to look like you're a spry 40, avoid this salon at all costs--the high cost (in dollars) of looking a lot older than you are. Each "stylist" is pretentious enough to have their own assistants, assistants who expect to be tipped for standing around gathering tips on how to give a horrendous haircut. While my "stylist" was butchering my hair, he babbled incessantly about all of the fabulous places he had worked and all of the "precision cutting" skills he had learned instead of letting me get a word in about how I wanted to look. When he wasn't talking about himself, he was asking his "assistant" about the next client. It seemed to me that my "stylist" was far more concerned about who was coming in next (also a 50+ year old woman) than 20-something me. I went in for a shaggy pixie cut -- I left looking like Prince Valiant. (see this Sunday's funny pages for visual reference) After crying about it, I went to JC Penney's salon in Robinson. Ask for Carol, she has experience fixing other stylists' mistakes.
Pros: It was close to home.
Cons: Everything
