The sushi is very decent for the price, good quality and portion. But I would have to say the highlight of this place is their special sushi rolls. They have so many choices for you. The portion is big, and the price is not too pricey, the quality of the ingredients is great. Most importantly, they taste GREAT!!! I have seriously tried almost every single "good-reviewed" sushi places in pittsburgh, but this place is by far my most favorite.

I have had sushi from all over the country even Tao in Las Vegas and no matter where i go Sushi Tomo is the best. Nothing has ever been able to beat it.

You can't beat their SUPER affordable lunch prices for large meals that are made with meticulous attention to quality and taste! Very fine staff, very fast service and overall the food is wonderful. Their dinners come with a large array of dishes and the quality is just unbeatable. Too bad Pittsburgh isnt that opened to trying places like this...

i have been going to Sushi Tomo at least once a week and have never been disappointed with ANYTHING i've gotten there. the food is outstanding, the service is perfect, and i couldnt ask for a better dining experience.

Been there 4 times in the past month. Fresh Sushi and good service. Good chef. Best all around Sushi/Japanese restaurant Area, you walk out satisfied and happy about getting what you paid for. You can walk in with a party and be seated or sit alone at the Sushi bar and be entertained. My brother is a Film producer/director from NY and came to visit me recently. The worst critic I know, loved Sushi Tomo. Cant find anything wrong.

i love their menu. great place to eat and friendly staff. the vegetable yam roll is EXCELLENT.

We always get such great food and great service when we go here. It's always such a great time!!! The volcano roll is the best!!!

I love this place! I suffer through McKnight Road red lights to come here! The staff is always pleasant and the food is always superb. I've never had a complaint. I strongly recommend the volcano roll!

Everytime I have been to this restaurant I have had a pleasant experience. I usually get just sushi and seaweed salad. Both are excellent. The sushi might be the best I have ever had!!! Try the VOLCANO ROLL-it is by far the best maki roll my boyfriend and I have ever tasted. The entrees I have tried have been presented well, but lack in taste. But, definately go for the sushi!!!!!!!
Pros: sushi, no wait, great service
Cons: main entrees lacking
