I took my daughter for her birthday to get a facial, massage and a few highlights. What an great experience for us. We have been going to EF for a long time. But this was the first time I took my daughter with me. We got our dual facial and massage, and then I had her get some highlights at the end. We stayed all afternoon, then went for a little dinner. We talked about how lovely it was to spend the day there. We are going to make it a yearly tradition. Maybe she will do the same for my birthday :) The spa is so beautiful and relaxing. The facials are the best. They make your skin so fresh and clean. The massage was great as a dual, it was very comfortable. And the highlights came out very nicely.

Pros: Wonderful to spend the day with a loved one, great service, and lovely atmosphere

Cons: I can't do it everyday

I use Dermologica now for my skin care and it has really transformed my skin. I used to use store bought products like you see on commercials. I tried everything... but nothing worked for my skin. Sarah, my esthetician, helped me with what I needed to do, and what products were right for my skin. I have been using them for about six months now, and wow!!! I love it. I go for my facial once a month, and then I use my Dermologica at home everyday. It is amazing. The changes to my skin. I look younger, tighter, less oily, and damaged looking. Everyone I know is amazed as well. I only wish more of my family lived around here to go to the spa with me. I just wanted to thank her for all her help. She is so sweet and really does such a good job. She should be commended.

Pros: Top of the line skin care products and the knowledge to know how to use them!!!!

I have been going to European Flair for a few years now, and really feel they have been been in the past and still are today the best salon I have been to. My stylist really takes care of my needs and really takes the time to do my hair correctly. I just wanted to note this, because seems last "customer" was not such a happy person. I think maybe there really was not much anyone could do to make her happy, we are all aware of those types. I think if you really want to know how it is at this salon, try it yourself.

Pros: Classy, beautiful, clean, helpful, skilled, and delightful atmosphere

Ok, I am here in PA visiting with family for a few months about to move to VA so I can welcome home my b/f of 6 months that is currently in Iraq. I haven't seen him in 3 years so I wanted to look good, just be blown away! Getting the hair done was one of the top things on my list but I didn't want just anyone to touch my hair. Since I'm not from the area I searched the internet and came across European Flair as being the #1 hair salon in the Pitt area. Cool, awesome, so many good reviews, I'll check it out. I schedule an appointment for my hair to get permed, they ask what kind of hair, I say long, completely straight and hard to curl. They say "OK, see you then". I drive almost 2 hours to get to this place, one way. I wait a little past my scheduled appt., no biggie. Walk me into the hair salon section and say "the only type of perm you can get is a spiral", after explaining a little why that was my ONLY choice she asked what I had in mind, so coming prepared I pull out pictures of ladies with curly hair from a magazine and say something like this and nothing like that. She looks at me and says "You KNOW thats not permed, right?" I was shocked she thought I was that ignorant to ask that question but I replied "yea I do know that I was just showing you the look I was going for" I had in mind a body wave of sorts so I could actually use a curling iron and hopefully the curls would stay. Then she continued on to say "I know this girl in California that does famous peoples hair and to get hair like that they spend like 5 hours on it", well thank you for that tid bit of information that I already knew, atleast now I can say it's 5 as opposed to 4 or 6! Then I don't know how many times she told me that "it would just be a waste of your money". So since the perm seemed to be out of question I asked about a hair color , highlights and trim/cut. I'm sorry I'm running out of room so this is to be continue...it gets better...

Pros: Don't know of any...their work might actually be pretty good

Cons: Worst customer interaction I have EVER dealt with!

I ask about haircolor, highlights and trim/cut. She said sure and pulled out the colors...I think EVERYTHING that I picked out she replied with "I caaaaan do that, it's not impossible but..." and proceeded to tell me about all the trouble she would have to go through to get that accomplished. Well ya know what, I'm pretty sure I'm not asking you to do anything other than your JOB! I know it's hard work and that's why I almost always give a 50% of the total bill tip, even if it isn't exactly what I wanted. I can't believe I stuck around this long but I really wanted to get my hair done before I moved, which is next week, so I was just really upset and almost in tears by the way this lady had been talking to me and to top it all off I finally came to a conclusion about what I wanted and she told me "I can only do part of your request because I don't have the time, it will take like 3 hours". Uh huh, maybe for you, but this isn't my first time and at the most it took them 2 hours. Ok maybe once it took 3 hours but that was because I was the gentleman's last customer of the day and he just took his time (made sure I was ok with it) and we just chatted and had a nice relaxing time doing my hair, oh and by the way that was in California, where I just moved from. Maybe, whatever your name is, you should take some lesson off your girlfriend! I had enough, I wasn't going to be able to get what I wanted so decided to just leave..."you sure you don't want me to just trim/cut your hair?" YEP! Like 100% positive!!! You are not worth a 50% tip...

European Flair has the best spa packages and their friendly service is excellent! Thanks to doing my homework and reading the recommendations by City Search and the advice of a trusted friend, I have had several pleasant experiences.

Pros: They will spend the time, everytime!

Cons: May take a few hours but there spa can help fix up any bad mood.

European Flair is so wonderful to go to just to get away from it all and relax and be treated like royality. Tina and her staff are great. Tina's expertise's knows no boundarys she does it all with such great results that I have never been able to achief with others in over 20 some years. Tina was able to work her "magic" on my very bad roceaca problem in very little time. No one can do a facial like her and when see applied my makeup I could not believe it was me. I have had pedicures from kelly and they are heavenly . She does such a professional job and has a great personality. Everyone who works there is so nice. Tina has worked hard to make a wonderful business. I've taken my 88 year old mother to the Spa and they handled here special needs so nicely she looked great after Tina did her facial treatments and her eye brows were done BEAUTFULEY they took such good care of her. My sister from Savannah went to Tina for a facial and will not go anywhere else for facials until her next trip home. If you want your eyebrows to look the best they ever looked GO TO TINA mine have never looked this good. Tina gave me the right product for my face and it has never looked better using them. Also using her make up line has helped my face. She Is an expert in the beauty business and a wonderful person.I am so happy I found this Spa with Tina and staff I'ii be there till the doors close.

Pros: Everything was Great!!!!!!

Cons: I want to go every day!!!!!!

European Flair was such a treat. I took my three colleauges for the European Bliss, it was just perfect. The best of relaxation, in such a beautiful atmosphere, and we even enjoyed a nice lunch together. It was a great time to bond. Top notch services, and Constantina really knew her stuff with my skin care. We even enjoyed a walk on River Road after our services. Such a wonderful location and experience. Highly recommended.

Constantina did my eyebrows, and always has. I have gone other places and they never turn out. I really like the shape, and consistancy. I am so happy with my facials as well. I can trust anyone at this spa and expect a top of the line facial. The treatments are thorough, and they use Dermologica. Wonderful product, and really tell the difference between the cheap stuff some spas use. I love going to the spa, it is a great experience! Thanks!

I really have a hard time finding gifts for my wife and our anniversary. But this year, the jackpot. We celebrated our 10 years together at European Flair. It was wonderful. We had dual massages and facials. The massage was my choice, and facial was my wifes choice, although I really enjoyed the facial too! And it was just great. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and some anniversary cake. The atmosphere was perfect for relaxation and we now have a new favorite activity we can do together. RELAX! I recommend it!
