I have been going to the Shadyside Saloon for 6 years. I think I have my own reserved seat. It is very much like a "Cheers" if you go there frequently enough. I like having a place where everyone knows my name. Very friendly, a bit chilly, but great place to meet up with friends!

Great bar-very chill--excellent dart boards, nice selection of booze. Service is h_t or miss. (h_i_t is an inappropriate word???) Some of the bartenders are really on the ball and some just stand around starring at their own clevage.

poker every wednesday and saturday, this place is great! Those are the only times I go, so i can't really say anything else. Bar staff is very friendly.
