It was my first time at Capristo, and it was a great experience overall! Kim is amazing, especially for blondes. She was very careful in making sure my color and highlights were perfect. She also really paid close attention to the type of haircut I wanted. I definitely highly recommend Capristo to anyone looking for a new salon.

I love love love this salon! Breanne is amazing! Not only did she gave me fabulous color and cut but she is an awesome person, so easy to talk to and really knows what she is doing. My blonde highlights look so natural, she really works with you to give you exactly what you want. Also gives her expert input which is always appreciated. Such a positive vibe in the salon, everyone seems so happy to be there! The Wednesday happy hour with martinis is a huge plus as well =). A little pricey but most definitely worth it, would recommend to everybody!

Capristo is a great salon, very professional and very reputable. I personally see Kim. She does a fantastic job with my highlights. I've never had a single complaint with her work. I get lots of compliments on my color and have Kim to thank. If you are looking to have highlights done be sure to ask for her. She is also great with the cut and style. Definitely the best stylist I've been to.

Since the first moment I could get a haircut, I've been going to Capristo's and in that time I've come to know Kim as one of the best not only at Capristo's but in Pittsburgh. While my friends have had horror stories about people dying their hair or cutting it a way they hated that even brought them to tears, I've always felt confident it whatever Kim is doing and however she goes about executing it. She knows what works best for every client and isn't afraid to tell you what will be best for you. In this day in age, we're all so determined to do our own thing to distinguish us, and the worst possible thing you could do is damage your hair in the process. Kim's first priority is always the customer and is much more thorough that any other person around. While other people I know are worried about where they're going to get their haircut in college, I know that no matter what it takes, I'll be venturing back to Kim not only throughout college but throughout the rest of my life.

Pros: Everything, worth the money

If you go to Capristos ask for Breanne Kochmanski! The first time I went I was incredibly surprised that she spent as much time as she needed to on fixing my damaged hair. She was not in a hurry to rush me out, but instead she took her time in order to get an excellent end result. Regarding the cut, she really listens to what it is that you want. And with respect to color, she does an absolutely amazing job! Before going to Breanne my hair color has never looked so healthy along with accenting my skin tone. My friends and family immediately noticed a difference in my hair after I started going to her. Just as an added bonus, she is so easy to talk to, and she's hysterical - which makes the entire experience more enjoyable. For as long as I live in Pittsburgh she is the only stylist I will go to!

I was referred to Kim by a good friend when my regular hair stylist (from another salon) moved away. Kim really knows her stuff! She takes time to talk with you and tells you what cut and color will look best with your face shape, complexion and personality. She'll even flip through magazines with you to find inspiration if you are unsure of what you want. She takes her time and puts so much thought into her clients. And she makes the experince fun with her bubbly personality. I've definitely found "my" new stylist!

Pros: Great service and awesome results

Cons: Somtimes run behind schedule, a tad expensive

I recently moved to Pittsburgh and was apprehensive about having my hair cut and colored by someone new. I made an appointment with Kim and immediately felt at ease. She asked enough questions before she even started to color my hair. Despite the salon being busy, she really took the time to understand what I wanted and gave me very natural highlights which is what I requested. I am very happy with the color and cut and will only let Kim do my hair in the future!

Pros: Great color and cut.

Cons: Sometimes behind schedule.

Capristo Salon is a wonderful and classy salon. Kim, a young, fun hair stylist, has done my haircut, highlights, and layers for about five years, and has never ever done me wrong. I highly recommend her: I am particular about my hair, but she consistently delivers amazing hair each time. She always knows what to do, even if I am not sure what I want. Definitely ask for her! -LG
