Excellent dining experience on the water. just got back from the Allegheny Mariner - this was a great find! My wife and I were looking for a restaurant in Kittanning to meet her parents for dinner and found the Allegheny Mariner on-line. Unfortunately I couldn't find many reviews, but we took a chance and it really paid off. We've now found a nice place to have a relaxing dinner with really good food. Our group had the crab cakes, Parmesan crusted salmon and chicken marsala - all were outstanding. Prices were reasonable as well. I recommend, it's worth the drive

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!.
We stumbled upon this place for the first time last night. We were pleasantly surprised to find it, as it is not on the beaten path. Even though they had just been swamped with a party of 80 for a lady's 100th birthday, the staff and service were wonderful.
The food was another pleasant surprise; nice variety, reasonable prices, very flavorful and cooked to perfection.
Owners Jeff and Trish and our waitress, Melissa, couldn't have been more welcoming, treating us like family, even though it was our first time. This is our new FAVORITE restaurant anywhere in Western Pennsylvania and beyond.
The beauty of the setting just rounded out the wonderful experience. And it was a great value. We will be back OFTEN!
