'Peter B's =worst sound in Pgh' Peter B's is the WORST sounding venue in the Pittsburgh area.The room itself is resonant and harsh sounding to begin with.The wooden floor with plaster walls,and mirrors,are intolerable.

The "in house" sound is a total joke.The 2nd rate sound company "Shady Lady Productions"(name says it all) that works there doesn't have a CLUE,of what is going on. I've never heard so much feedback,popping and rumbling,in my life.When my band played there,,we NEVER used them.

Do yourself a favor,if you go to Peter B's,watch your money also, on the bar.It tends to "disappear"when you turn your back.(More "shady" goings on)Be sure to take ear plugs.

As far as some of these other so called "musicians" on here defending Ew-tah,they need to ask themselves, "Why do you have such small crowds"(like 15 people)...???

SERIOUSLY!?!?!?. I work with a Pittsburgh based band who has had Utah run our sound at Peter B's, and many other venues, on several occasions. He has always provided excellent sound quality up front and on stage (not an easy task for the requirements of our music.) He is not only professional, but also very accommodating to the many bands that I have seen him work with. Utah and Shady Lady Studios are a force in the Pittsburgh music scene to help new performers get started and the continuation of quality music in the area.

The person who wrote that terrible review might want to consider the possibility that whatever problem they had that night, may have been their own.

Keep goin' Utah and Peter B's. We love what you're doing for all the dedicated musicians in the 'Burgh!

Awesome venue to see a band!. We have been to Peter B's many times to see a lot of great bands and have never had a problem. Its a wide open place, the bar is large and you dont have to travel into the city to see a great band!

We've never experienced sound problems at any of the shows we attended so i dont know what the last reveiwer was talking about, but i give Utah, Shady Lady Productions, and Peter B's a huge thumbs up for bringing some awesome acts to the burbs!!

Bands BEWARE. My band Played there one night and the soundman's gear starts spiking out. And then he blames the act!

Uh, Jim Bob, ever hear of en-surance? It was the worst experience ever... This guy Ewe-Taw, who does sound, books bands, washes bottles, and whatever else, was completely tone deaf. The place has a ton of mediocre gear and "Ewe" has no idea how to use it. It's a real drag for the audience that has to hear inferior sound and obnoxious Bass and suffer through muffled audio. My advice to Bands: dont play there!!!!

great karaoke!!. We started going here on Tuesdays for Karaoke and the SAME guy that plays at Tailgater's plays here! What great sound!! Nice big crowd, also! We had a great time!
