This park has rebounded from extensive coal mining and oil-drilling activities, with amazing colors.. In Short
Moraine State Park is a great getaway of rolling hills and shimmering blue water, courtesy of Lake Arthur. There are six excellent hiking trails, from the challenging 14-mile Glacier Ridge Trail to the easier 1.5-mile Five Points Trail. If you'd rather travel by bike, take the paved, 7-mile trail that runs along the shore of Lake Arthur. If you're a mountain-bike fanatic, try the more advanced 7-mile loop track in the north part of the park.
