Tips for Whispering Winds Boarding Kennel

Best Boarding Kennel in Western PA. I've had dogs all my life and boarded them in many facilities and never come upon any kennel like Whispering Winds. I have absolutely no worries leaving my little yorkie mix, Rusty, with them. They pamper every pet that's with them as if it were their own and the dogs have plenty of room to run and play. They also have an in house groomer who is exceptional. Their prices are very reasonable and the attention they give all the animals is outstanding. My Rusty is a regular visitor and will continue to be! I would drive out of my way to board Rusty at Whispering Winds. We are very lucky to have a facility like this to take care of our pets when we need it!

Whispering Winds Boarding Kennel Review.
I felt comfortable leaving my two 9 year old dogs that had never been in a kennel before. My male lab has separation anxiety, and I was very nervous until I toured the facility and met with the owner.
However, I was disappointed when I picked them up. They were not in the larger kennel in the back corner that had been verbally promised, but instead placed in the regular row. This would probably have been fine if I was told up front that this is where they would be for the 10 days they had to stay.
I was also disappointed to find that we were charged an additional $3 per day for play time. At no time was this mentioned. We would have paid for the dogs to play, but it is just sad that we were not told of this expense.
I feel mislead.

Very happy to have found this kennel!. Mary, the owner, is very caring and loving. I feel so comfortable leaving my very shy doggie with her. The kennel is in a lovely country location, offers playtime for the dogs and the usual kennel odor is completely absent! The price is very reasonable. Highly recommended
