Excellent !!!!. This place has been one of my favorites for years! The food is Great and served piping hot! The servers are fast, prompt, and very polite! I don't know what others talk about on here. I go there twice a week for years and have NEVER had a complaint!!
One of my worst dining experiences. It had been awhile since my husband and I ate at El Campesinos in Irwin. The food and service were always good and prices reasonable. However, this last visit changed all of that. It was a Saturday evening (2 weeks ago) and they must have had one cook in the kitchen. I saw only three servers while I was there. We waited over an hour for our meal. I ordered one of the combo platters. When my plate arrived, I could have sworn that I did not order what was on my plate. However, since it was soooooooooooooooooooooo long ago that I ordered I could not remember what I had ordered. One of my meat items (?) was cold. I didn't even know what the heck it was. My husband' said his food was not good either. Several times throughout the evening a waitress came up to us and said "you still didn't get your food yet?" Some people walked out. There were 3 guys who came in after us and they were ready to walk out, but their food arrived. I told our waiter and he said well I will have them make another one. I told him I was not interested and please bring the check. As we were waiting in line, there was a woman behind us with 5 children and she had ordered six tacos(she was there for an hour) . One of her kids commented, "how long does it take to make 6 tacos?". The woman had an appointment to be somewhere so she was just willing to pay for her chips and leave. The cashier (who was also our waiter) did not say a word to us. What a nightmare. No surprise if they go out of business. I will not be returning.
Yucky!. Ground beef tacos & enchiladas that if I had ever tasted Alpo I am almost POSITIVE that would be what it would taste like. It certainly SMELLED like it! Salsa was basically stewed tomatoes~ UGH! The only thing that would classified as 'good' would be the salsa verde, NOT the one in the bottle that they tried to pawn off on me... The one that actually came from the kitchen, their beans and rice were okay but the next time I want MEXICAN food I will definitely go elsewhere.
Best Mexican Around. The food here is excellent, as is the service. Prices are very reasonable. Dinners can be ordered a la carte, or from the 20 plus combination platters (I suggest the number 4-enchilada, taco, and tostada). For dessert, the flan and Mexican coffee are delicious. Always a pleasurable experience.
