I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP!! I purchased a BMW Z4 in January 2012 from Mike at this dealership.I purchased the car with assurances that the car was completely serviced and ready to drive back to Ohio.On our drive back, the low coolant light came on and we needed to add coolant immediately.Mike said it was an oversight on their part. The car has been in storage for the past 15+ months because I have had 2 shoulder surgeries and unable to drive it.I recently took it for service to a BMW dealer who informed us that their is no air conditioning belt on the car.It could be missing because of a compressor issue. a new compressor costs $700,the belt $200,and the labor $300.It would seem to me that if the car had no coolant that it would have been very hard to check the air conditioner before the sale.I am hard pressed to believe Mike that the belt may have fallen off or that it dry rotted. If it had fallen off while driving, would there not be some sort of noise or damage to the radiator or engine compartment. As much as I want to believe Mike,i think the dealership reasoning sounds more plausible. Please be very careful when dealing with this company.
No problems here – Went to Harrison's to test drive a car. Was given the chance to test drive a few, really helped make my decision. Went home and saw these reviews and got nervous. Called Mike at the dealership, and he explained each one. Actually took ownership of a few concerns. Put my mind at ease. Bought the car. There after, a check engine light went on. Eventhough I bought the car as-is, they fixed it no cost me. i had no problems with these folks.
Definitely Would Buy From this Dealer Again – I recently purchased a car from Mike at Harrison Auto Sales, & I had the complete opposite experience that others had. I drove the car home & noticed a very loud engine noise, I immediately called Mike. He told me he was sending a tow truck to pick the car up. Tow truck arrived in less than an hr. Mike called next day to inform me that car had major engine problems . To make a long story short, the engine was replaced at no cost to me, as well as an exhaust. The car was delivered to me in great condition inside & out. I could not be happier with the service I received & with Mike in general.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER! – Horrible experience from Harrisons. This is a stereo-typical used car dealer. Very nice upfront until the paperwork is signed and they get paid. Then the lying, dishonesty and un-ethical behavior comes out. Ex. Bought a car that was touted as 'excellent' condition, was assured that it was checked and inspected before purchase. Less than 300 miles and 2 weeks after purchase a major mechanical problem was discovered. Was told that the dealership isn't responsible because of 2 reasons: (1) they weren't the ones that actually inspected the vehicle, (2) they came down $200 in price and therefore I assumed that the vehicle was less than perfect.
Terrible experience, terrible owner and salesman.
DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!
Don't Buy A Car From These Guys! – Bought a VW from these guys. When the car arrived it had no floor mats. They tried to blame it on the shipper. To make things worse, they promised in writing to send the second ignition key to my home address along with the title, purchase agreement, etc., There was no second key in the fed-ex package. I called and asked about the second key. I was told there was no second key. I asked if they would compensate me for the floor mats and second key. (Together the two items will cost me another $500 or so out of pocket). I was told to have a nice day and they hung up.
I was so angry at their response that I joined this website just to post this review. Terrible customer service and attitude.
I have huge concerns about their after purchase attitude – I purchased a 2008 Frontier on Jan 18, 2011. I shipped it to Texas. After a couple of weeks I noticed the paint peeling off the front bumper. Find below the one and "only" email I sent to Harrison regarding any problems with the vehicle. Also see below that the response from the owner, Brad.

When I washed the Truck noticed the paint is flaking/peeling off on the front bumper. I took it to two separate Nissan (Texas Nissan and Bankston Nissan) Dealers who both told me the bumper has been replaced (or repaired) and repainted. I need your help to get it re-painted properly. They said it would cost ~$600-700 to do so. Please advise. I will send photos in the morning of the bumper area that is affected. Meanwhile see the attached photo pointing to the bumper area where the flaking is most noticeable. It will eventually all fall off. They said whoever painted it did not properly prepare the surface.

Good morning, brad harrison owner of harrison auto. I am sending this email to inform you we are not able to help with ur situation. The truck had no issues when u took delivery, not sure what type of product you used or maybe a powerwasher etc, harrison auto can not be responsible for any actions past delivery. I am sorry this happened. You might want to check with another source for repair. I usually pay 200 to have bumpers refinished not $700. We at harrison auto did everything possible to ensure ur satisfaction with ur purchase after constant emails and communications. I am sorry I am not able to help, please refrain from further contact either via email or calling the dealership. Regards, brad harrison...owner..harrison

This is my first email or contact to Harrison (regarding problems) since I purchased the vehicle. I do not know what you are talking about when you mentioned “constant emails”. Your message below seems a bit harsh, actually rude. Quite frankly I am shock to see such an email from the owner. I will check with another source of repair as you suggested. There were two additional vehicle I was considering purchasing from you (Harley and Cadillac SRX for my wife). Perhaps you have me confused with another customer?
Brad, I put my trust in Harrison and really enjoyed my experience with Craig and Mike. Again, I am shocked that you would send me such a harsh email without having ever met me.
I just pray that paint is my only problem. I am trusting that it will be.
I thought I did all my homework up front, Carfax, spoke with original owners, spoke with Nissan dealer who did all the previous maintenance, etc.... I just hate the way I was responded to after the one and only problems so far.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER – Where to begin, at first they seem nice and friendly, this all ends whenever you purchase your car and have a problem with it. First, fought I with them over the 90 day warranty, manager hung up on me and the salesmen I bought my car off of screamed at me, I have never been talked to in such a manner from someone I did business with in my life! Now the real fun begins, I bought the car in July 09 and the salesmen told me the inspection was good until Aug 2010. About 2 months later (Sept 09) I was pulled over for not having a current inspection sticker, the car was last inspected in October of 2008! I was confused of course because the salesman told me it was good for another year. I then got a ticket for $110 and had to get a new windshield in order for my car to pass inspection total was $321. In total I have payed over $400 due to the fact that I was lied to that my inspection was current. After I called them they said they would only pay for the inspection which was $24! I have since contacted the state and local police. Do not go here unless you want to be taken advantage of or played for a fool
