Awful. Don't go to Dr. Urrea unless you want to feel worse. He accused me of being a "liar" and story teller during our session when I told him it took me months to get an appointment. Bullied me until I left in tears, then told me I have an anger problem and need antipsychotics (I was an assault victim and never even rose my voice). His staff did apologize to my family up and down however. I have many complaints lodged against him and if you look around the internet so do others. Do yourself a favor and go see a doctor who isn't abusive

Schizophrenia Expert. I have been a patient of Dr. Urrea's since 2002, and I didn't even know I had schizophrenia and bipolar disorder until he was assigned to me at the hospital. He definitely knows what he is doing. Once I was having a really bad reaction to my meds -- called him on the emergency number -- when I spoke with him on the phone, he asked what I was taking and what my symptoms were -- and gave the exact remedy immediately, which did indeed work. He is a wonderful and loving psychiatrist -- the best I've ever had in my life (I've had at least 3 before him). I recommend him to everyone in need of psychiatric services and treatment for sleep disorders. Everyone who works at Psychiatric Care Systems is excellent in their patient care. It is the only place I trust to treat me.
