Very expensive. I really did like FunFest. It really is a nice place for both bowling and laser tag. But it is expensive! Just for bowling, three people, two games, cost $30, and that was AFTER a "Buy one game, get one game free" coupon. I'm not sure what cost what, they wouldn't tell me at all, no matter how many times I asked. But if before the coupon the cost was $20 a person for only two games plus shoes, that is just INSANE!
verry good place for KIDS. Hi... the last time i checked this place was for kids and family... not pro bowlers you piece of ****... but thank you for your professional opinion... i really like this place.... the kids like it a lot... decent service all around and it a good value... i would definitely recommend you take your family there... but not your bowling team...
Bad Service. I came here and and the workers behind the counter were so rude. I was very disappointed with the service.
A sprawling facility with 40 lanes, a spacious game area, a lounge and a snack bar..
The Scene
The facility's colorful carnival-like motif works well, isn't tacky and puts the visitor in a relaxed frame of mind. The lanes' furniture is subdued but attractive and the coat closets are a nice, practical feature.
The Skinny
On occasion we've experienced a malfunctioning scoring system and pin-resetter. House balls are in good condition and easy to find, the two-toned rental shoes with bright laces fit in well with the general motif and the background music (classic rock genre) is played at a nice, soft level. Straight, but full of scratches, the lanes need to be buffed. Fun Fest offers glow-in-the-dark cosmic bowling. Lane attendants could be more helpful.
The Best Birthdays In Town. FunFest is one of the most fantastic entertainment venues around. It is the type of place you can take the whole family for a day, and not as pricey as some other places. On the weekends you don't have to be one of those special league bowlers to get a lane (not like most other places)they have open bowling all day and night. FunFest's birthday parties are the best in the city In fact I would put them up against even Chuck e Cheese and I think They would win. In closing do not miss an oppurtunity to go to FunFest this winter.
new and improved. I found funfest to be a very entertaining place for both adults and the children. The new touch screens made everything much easier. The customer service was excellent. And as the pricing has jumped, so has the quality of service and products.
Not for the tournament bowler. Fufest USED to be one of the best houses in Pittsburgh for the tournament bowler...But then in came COSMIC and out went bowling. The prices listed on the page are WRONG, as they remodled by installing new everything and prices skyrocketed. Expect to pay $4 a game. Lane conditions are horrible. If you get the right guy to oil on the day of your visit you can bear it... but otherwise FORGET IT! Approaches are the worst I have ever seen (I've been to hundreds of centers).
