Editorial Review for Outback Steakhouse – by Citysearch Staff
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

Very good food (steak) and friendly staff. Enjoy the bar before your meal. Waits are never more then thirty/fourty mins. They also offer call ahead seating. Try the prime rib outback style.

Outback Steakhouse has the best steak in Pittsburgh, I've been to a number of their Pittsburgh restaurants and its always the same at each and every one. The steaks always juicy and so good. The go out of their way to make it just the way you want. I've never had a bad dinner at Outback, and the amount of food you get for the price is unbelievable!!! I highly recommend it.
Pros: Inexpensive , Make it your way, Friendly staff
