I went to the monkey bar for the first time recently because I was on my way home from somewhere and I just so happened to notice their awesome deck out back and decided to stop. Boy was I pleased. I went there on a Tuesday night and the girls that were working were amazing. I don't know what "ironcitychic" is talking about, sounds to me like she might just be jealous of the good looking girls that work there. The owner was friendly, the food was great and the service was excellent. I will be sure to stop back at the Monkey Bar next time I'm out that way.
Pros: Gorgeous bartenders, great daily food and drink specials, Great Jukebox, big deck

Other than weekday drink specials, wings(the only thing good on the menu) and a patio this place stinks. The bartenders are rude, ignorant and stuck up. If you're not a local don't be surprised to be treated with the same poor attitude. I recently went in with a few friends and felt like I had a sign on my head that read "I want poor service". I also think that the staff needs a class on how to be polite to their customers, afterall they work for tips and they did'nt get much from me. I don't think I will ever go back unless bad service is what I'm in the mood for.
Pros: place has a deck
Cons: rude staff, felt like they did'nt want me there, locals only it seems
