Fantastic. The saleswoman who helped me picked the perfect dress for me immediately. I bought the first dress she put me in. She was also very accommodating picking out numerous other dresses until I was sure (I am just annoying like that when shopping). The seamstress did a fantastic job and charged a reasonable rate. Everyone I dealt with was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend them!

Wonderful Experience. I went here to shop for bridal gowns with my mom and 2 of my bridesmaids. It was a wonderful experience! My consultant was beyond helpful, knowledgeable of the gowns they had, and personable. She was not pushy and completely understanding that I was not ready to make a decision on a gown but was willing to spend as much time as needed with me. She was also great interacting with my mom and 2 bridesmaids, taking suggestions and input from them. If you are looking for a friendly atmosphere with great service you definitely need to go here!

Great bridal shop!. The White Orchid did such a wonderful job in helping me find and purchase my wedding gown. The staff from the saleswomen, to the seamstresses were super nice and always helpful. They were never pushy and brought as many dresses as I asked for. I returned several times before making a selection and got the same great service each time. I would reccommend the White Orchid to anyone I know looking for a bridal gown!

Only nice until you pay!. I used the White Orchid to order 6 bridesmaid dresses and 1 flower girl dress as well as 6 tuxedo rentals. When I visited them while shopping for bridesmaid dresses, we found a dress that I liked but as being a bigger girl, I couldn't try it on. I returned to my home out of state and went to a store where I could try the same dress on in my size. Loved it and bought it. When I returned to Pittsburgh and wanted to get the dress altered (because the wedding was here!), I had quite a problem. The sales people at The White Orchid were very rude and told me that they do not let their seamstresses work on dresses bought at other stores. However the seamstresses are just using their space and are not employees of the White Orchid. She told me that if I wanted my dress altered their I should have had them order it. I told them I spent more on tuxes and bridesmaid dresses than on my dress. I told her that no one informed me of this when I made my appointment and that I didn't know of this policy. They were very curt and acting like they were doing us a huge favor so we left. Even if you spend a ton of money there they will still treat you like dirt.
