Not a Happy Customer!!. I had to let people know that I recently purchased a gift for someone at the Southside location. it was a purse that I paid $100 for, then found out you can purchase for $40 at TJ Maxx!! i asked to return the purse, and they would not refund cash. There was NO refund policy posted, until AFTER i returned 30 minutes later to talk to Aimmee, the manager, who explained they are a small family owned business, and do not give refunds! Then she admitted while i was gone, they THEN posted the sign saying no cash refunds! I worked for a small famiy business, and this is BAD BUSINESS!!! Buyer beware.

Don't go there. They just want your money! Once you pay, you are useless to them and they are not afraid to put up their true faces.

Great Experience All Around!!. I think this is confusing because there are 2 separate salons in this discussion. Destefino's Southside and another Destefino's in Shadyside. Although I have not personally experienced the Shadyside Salon, I hear great things. I love going to Destefino's Southside location because Ashley is a really great stylist and always keeps me up with the trends and makes my hair look fabulous! I've been traveling 45 minutes for the last 2 years just to get my hair done! I do not agree with some of the comments on here but I guess you just can't please everyone! I strongly suggest going here!

all in 1. i will be returning for sure, if your looking for an all inclusive this is the spot. i got a wash and dry by CARLA, love love loved it..... and then a mani and pedi from DANA, she is the best no question....the quality of service exceeded my expectations..

silky. had to tell.... went in last month to get a wash and style, sounds easy enough but if you seen my hair.... it is dry, extra curly, and just a little gray, ok just gray..lol all i have to say is read my headline, yes she made my hair look and feel silky to say the least. not to mention the service was first class.. ladies if you want it done right i have just the person for you...... ask for carla

loved it. i recently went to Salon DeStefano and was seen by carla. the expirence along with the hair cut and style was great, i left feeling like a new person. i plan to return often......

The negative reviews are WRONG!!. Wow, all I was doing was coming to this site to get DeStefino's phone number, and I could not believe the negative reveiws.

I've been getting my hair done at this salon for a year and a half by Craig. He is the best stylist I've ever been to. He actually saved my hair!! My hair was so over-processed, and had begun to break off. It was a mess. A friend referred me to Craig, and he has my hair in the best shape it has ever been. I constantly get complements on how healthy my hair is, how beautiful and natural the color is (I'm a darker blonde). Craig is truly an artist. He is realistic with your goals, and is highly professional. He has a polite, sweet, and experienced assistant (Rebecca)!!

Since I've been a client, I've referred 4 friends to Craig, because they've noticed such a difference in my hair!! They all LOVE HIM!!!

There are no ripped chairs, peeling paint, hair gobbs in the sink, gum chomping, rude receptionists.......these are just fabrications!! I don't know who left these comments, but karma is a b*#ch!!

I highly recommend Salon Destefino..........Especially Craig!!

Great color!. Ron is very professional and did a wonderful color job on my hair. He was the most knowledgeable colorist I have ever had and knew exactly what to do to my extremely bleached hair to minimize the breakage so I can grow it longer all while still keeping it blonde. Keri, who also helped work on my hair, and has also colored it beautifully before, was very sweet and easy to talk to. Even though the services can get a little pricy, you can't put a price on looking and feeling your best. :)

Unhappy. I used to go to Donna, and my girlfriend went to her husband, Larry. Donna has hacked up my hair for the last time. She's fried it to the point that I have bald spots in the back! My girlfriend is not happy with Larry much anymore, either. Go to Craig, but don't book an appointment with the older than dirt Donna and Larry.

great salon, great stylist. I was very impressed with Salon Destefino. The front desk was very pleasant (for all you who say they were "rude"- cmon' we all have bad days). I LOVED my stylist- Deborah. She gave me the best color and cut I've had. She's got great style and was fun to be with. I would recommend her hands down! Thanks and I'LL BE BACK!!!

Oh and "hair on the floor".....hmmm....it's a HAIR SALON!!!! I thought the place was great. Period!
