The Scene
The bustle of Walnut Street carries over into this store. Kards Unlimited is light-hearted with lots of eye candy and can turn running errands into something enjoyable. The lay-out consists of long and narrow passageways, so be prepared to suck it in. Everyone from the upper crust to budget-conscious college students are here. This is *the* place to go if you're looking for a nifty gift, and you don't have time to go all over, because you'll be able to procure the wrap and the card.
The Goods
Everything from the extremely tasteful to the extremely tacky, which is what makes this store so great. Kards Unlimited has a whimsical selection of wind chimes, garden decorations and ornaments that dangle from the ceiling. They have of course, cards, gift bags, wrap, collectible beer steins, ties, candles, t-shirts, photo albums and quirky stationery, sold by the sheet. They even have bumper stickers and Harry Potter stuff.

This store sells the most unique and unusual items. There is a book section which carries hard to find books. They also sell clever greeting cards, some made by small companies. It is a great place to find a gift for that hard to buy for person. The prices are a little higher than you would see at a major chain store, but it makes up for that in the selection of unique and cute items. You can buy your gift and the gift wrap at the same time which makes it a convenient place to shop. Not to mention it's location which is in a quaint residential neighborhood, which just adds to it's charm. PROS: Ecclectic gift items CONS: price

This is one of those gift shops that doesn't fall prey to the gift shop curse (10% nice, 90% junk). I liked quite a few things in here, and the staff was friendly without being pushy. This is somewhere where you could dump a bunch of money and somehow walk out happy with whatever you purchased. Nice place to get small, unique gifts (although you can spend larger amounts of $$ if you want).

This store is great. It has a variety of wonderful not your average Halmark cards. They have something for EVERY occasion. I could spend hours there reading all these funny cards. They also have wonderful gift items that are just way to cute. The cost is average and the quality is high. The service is great. They also carry rare tee shirts and things along those lines. I really love this store and get in a great mood no matter what when I enter it.
