Do not go here!. I ordered a pizza with black olives and there were multiple olive pits, one of which chipped a tooth. I called them about it and all they did was apologize. My dental bill will be close to $700 and *I* had to call them back to ask for a refund for my $15 pizza. This is ridiculous.

Do not order pizza from here.

Worst place, very rude owner. I have been at this place many times especially after late night walnut street hangout. The pizza is just okay, not so expensive and consistent with a very average quality , the only good thing is that this place is open till 2 in the night. The owner is an Indian guy, who and his wife are EXTREMELY RUDE . There are 3-4 regular(read everyday) visitors on the bar who are real freaks, don't start a conversation with them. On weekends it gets very crowded in the midnight and thats when the owner, showing his true color, starts yelling at customers. I have seen him manhandling customers to make them stand in a queue. Bathrooms are dirty as hell, hardly any soap or paper. If you are drunk enough to ignore all this, grab your slice and run as you wont find any food late night on walnut except this shop.

Only the finest.. The manager tried to car-jack my jeep wrangler! Luckily he couldn't drive stick so we had to hang out for a while. I gave him the idea for the Hot Red Pie and we became fast friends. We play racket ball every Friday if anyone is up for a game. A word of warning though; he will definitely harass you sexually and make allusions about your invalid family members. Four stars.

Oh and the raccoon is his pet, it didn't just wander in there.

Danger: Predatory Manager. The owner, an Indian man named Ollie, is extremely choleric and intolerant. He called me retarded, harassed me sexually, and last night, he asked a customer to push me out using physical force. Don't go there!

BOYCOTT this place!

The Shadyside take-out joint that shuns typical Shadyside pretense.. The Scene
Village Pizza has been a small family owned business since 1942, and boasts 12 chefs making pizza pies. With almost any imaginable topping available, the shop sells traditional pizzas made to your specifications, as well as specialty pizzas like Santa Fe Chicken or Veggie Pie. Lunchtime at means hordes of Walnut Street shop employees daintily eating chicken salads. The rest of the time, college students wolf down Bianco and beer.

The Food
The place has a few grease-smudged indoor tables to grub at and a few outside, as well as 50 different kinds of globe-trotting beer. Village Pizza sells six-packs to go as well as individual cans and 12-40oz. bottles. Pizza Bianco, the pizza shop's hot seller, is fresh dough covered with garlic, spinach, sliced tomatoes, artichokes, feta cheese with no red sauce.

95-97 After School Hangout. Pizza is delish, but I must say I liked it best when the Greenhouse Cafe was still open next door. For some reason it tasted better then...maybe it was just the time.

Home of the Great White Slice. Three words - Hot Red Pie.

Love the new bar too!
