BEST Breakfast.
While the service can be slow and there is inevitably a long wait on weekend mornings, it's totally worth it. I take my friends from out of town for brunch here and they invariably adore it. The omelettes are always great and the lyonaisse potatos are incredible. Never been disappointed with this place once, and it's cheap!

Best Pancakes ever! Shadyside location is not as packed as Oakland location..
Best breakfast I've ever had. Much better than any IHOP I've been too. Before I kept complaining about the lack of IHOP's around but a friend recommended this place to me as a place to go. Though it was crowded I had only a 10-15min wait on a Sunday around noon. My boyfriend got his food first and i had to wait a few minutes for mine to come however.
I had the strawberries and creme pancakes which were absolutely amazing from the very first bite. I loved the crispy brown sugar(I think) laced edges and the nicely sliced strawberries. My boyfriend had eggs, sausage and chocolate chip pancakes. They give you more than enough of the chocolate chips and couldn't finish his meal....which is a first!
Overall can't wait to go again for a cheap delicious meal. Parking wasn't too bad since its Shadyside. Though it is an inconvenience that they only take cash, there are ATM's around the corner.

no good breakfast here.
I don't understand the appeal of Pamelas. The service is poor, they use American cheese, the potatoes are greasy, and, the ultimate sin for a breakfast joint, the coffee is just plain bad.
One saving grace is the "crepe" style pancakes.
