The Scene – Light and airy, this is a rather large sushi bar and Japanese restaurant. The place exudes spotless cleanliness, with white everywhere and light green countertops. There is a large bar area as you enter, with a pleasant sushi bar and tables in the dining room. Service is very friendly, and exceptionally fast. – – The Food – The sushi and sashimi are amazingly fresh. First time there, WOW. Wonderful food, nice display. I have been a cook for 20+ years. Friendly servers and employees. Excellent food. Will be going back at least 2 times a week for lunch...I'm hooked! The taste of the food and sauces was amazing! A must go restaurant! Parking garage is across the street and only $1.75 for first hour. Sometimes they let you slide the first hour.

Hands down the best sushi restaurant in town. Wonderful atmosphere and food. The owner, Frank, will make you feel like you're the most important customer that has walked through the door.

Best Sushi in Pittsburgh

We've tried almost all the sushi restaurants in Pittsburgh and Little Tokyo is by far the best! It may not have the diverse selection that some of the trendier places have, but the fish is extremely fresh and reasonably priced. The service and atmosphere are also very traditional, the waitresses don't speak alot of English but wait on your every need. Our only complaint is that sometimes the service is too quick and we're not done with our appetizers when the sushi arrives. If you're looking for good sushi, Little Tokyo is the place to go!
