Molyneaux carpet the best. I just had my carpet in from Molyeaux capert located on Washington rd , we are very pleased with the busneiss and the sales person was verry helpful and we just want to thank Cindy Benson for all her help and the people that put it in and we will have them do our next project coming up in our house. thank again

Overpricing From Molyneaux in 15001. I had my dining room, kitchen, and hallway measured for laminate flooring in February 2012. The Molyneaux employee measured the area and gave me a sq footage of 306 for the whole area(then said add 10% to that). Then he gave me an immediate quote of over $3,500.00 before I even looked at any flooring. I told him that that was over $5 per sq foot for the material and $5 per sq foot to install it. He said yeah that sound right and then showed me the cheapest Swiftlock flooring they offered. I laughed and said I had already measured the floor and it was under 300 sq foot and that Lowes installed for $1.99 a sq foot. He responded that they were not Lowes. I then sent him on his way and called Lowes who measured a total of 265 sq foot installed at $1.99. Got a high quality Pergo floor for $3.00 a sq foot on sale and the total was $1,200.00. Three times less than Molyneaux's quote for their cheapest flooring. Do your research before deciding on Molyneaux.

Molyneaux Tile and Carpet in the South Hills. Our first experience with Molyneaux in the South Hills was to purchase tile for our entryway, hall closet and powder room. The salesman was very helpful both in the store and also when he came to our home to show us the product in our own environment. He made excellent suggestions on design and was meticulous in his calculations, drawings and instructions for the installers. He was flexible in setting the appointments to meet our schedules. The individuals who came to install the tile were prompt, polite, considerate and extremely hard working, along with being excellent craftsmen. Within two days they had taken out old carpeting, removed the old commode, leveled the floor, installed the new commode, installed the ceramic tile and new baseboard and cleaned up. Everything was done in a professional manner and with an eye to detail. I have had projects done before by other companies, but have never had one completed without a hitch as this one was. If this is a "normal" experience, you couldn't ask for better!

Installation crew took prescription meds from nightstand.. Member of installation took some of my wife's prescription medicine from a bedside nightstand. It was discovered soon after they left. My wife contacted installation crew leader who stated he had problems with this employee before. He subsequently contacted employee and got about 1/2 of the prescription back. Crew leader said he would report to Molyneaux, but didn't. When we talked to them a week later, they were very apologetic. I'm not sure what else I expected, but I thought there would be some follow-up, offer of reconciliation, something. Based on the handling of this event, I would not recommend this company.
