A 50-year old tradition, handed down from father to daughters.. The Scene
The adage "eye appeal is buy appeal" definitely applies to this market. The Brentwood location is small but loaded with product, all so meticulously arranged it works. Your pupils will dilate when you see the meats, fish, poultry and prepared foods in their glass display cases. You get the feeling that these sisters are really picky about what they sell, and that's a good thing. The buggies are small and cute, too.

The Goods
It's fun to shop here. Not a lot of leg work like those massive warehouse grocers and some neat stuff you won't find there anyway, particularly Breadworks bread. (Breadworks bread is so indescribably delicious and doesn't have all that added sugar that many grocery store breads do.) You'll find top-of-the-line dinner entree items here: shrimp, filet mignon, rib roast, spiral sliced ham, leg of lamb, turkey and fish. In addition to many unique non-perishables (quite a variety of mustard, for example), they also sell fresh produce, fine cheeses, and baked goods. And a lot more this 'n' that.
