The Scene
This is the warehouse of thrift stores -- a spacious building with lots of all the stuff that we Americans love even better the second time around. But everything has its place, and you'll have no trouble locating what you want. The staff is efficient. And if you don't find what you're looking for this week, come back next week. On a busy day (especially Saturday), the parking lot is packed with those who like to do right by our planet and recycling what's already on it. College students, artsy types, the intellectual and professional ilk, heck -- even people with money shop here. That's why it's so popular. And it's so danged cheap.
The Goods
Clothes. Lots of clothes and plenty of home furnishings. They have toasters, lamps, telephones, clocks and anything and everything else. Great place to hunt for things like typewriters.

I rarely go here because it's such a pain to get in and out of the parking lot. When you do get in the store is often very crowded. Prices are much higher than at other thrift stores and the store feels dirty. Also, some of the employees are rude (not all of them, but enough to make me not enjoy shopping there).

For a thrift shop. I was pleasantly surprised. There is a ton of clothes, for all shapes and sizes. The prices are alittle higher than your normal salvation army or goodwill, but I found better names and more slection here. So I would recommend stopping and taking a look. It will probably be worth your time.

I went to this store for the first time recently I rushed over after work and arrived at 5:42. It looked promising (which is why I didn't rate it a single star...) but I didn't get past the front door. I was "greeted" rudely by a bored girl at the counter who announced that they were closed despite about a dozen customers milling around. I checked my watch to confirm the time, shrugged, and walked out. No store that treats potential customers like an inconvenience deserves my business. If you plan to go, you'd better arrive well before their "closing time" of 6:00.
