What People Are Saying About Red White & Blue Thrift Store

The Scene – This is the warehouse of thrift stores -- a spacious building with lots of all the stuff that we Americans love even better the second time around. But everything has its place, and you'll have no trouble locating what you want. The staff is efficient. And if you don't find what you're looking for this week, come back next week. On a busy day (especially Saturday), the parking lot is packed with those who like to do right by our planet and recycling what's already on it. College students, artsy types, the intellectual and professional ilk, heck -- even people with money…
beware

I have shopped thrift stores since my divorce and generally had a good experience. However the one area I would get consistently burned in was electrical. Even though I would test the item it would either not work at home or fall apart because it had been wired together. I generally felt that the RWB folks were honest and that I was experiencing randomn bad luck until last week.
I was inspecting a mulcher when a customer, man, happened by and took an interest. He graciously sought out an employee when it would not work at the outlets on the floor . He accompanied the employee to the back room where they went to several outlets with no success. The employee said that it was completely broken and advised us not to buy it. Kudoos to that employee.
BUT the next day I went in and guess what? Yup it was on the floor for sale again. ! I tested it. It did not work.
SHAME ON THEM!
I am sorry, but that is the equivilent of stealing! And I think it is intentional because they WILL NOT TAKE ANYTHING BACK!
- Pros: sometimes find a treasure
- Cons: can't trust them
Not the best thrift store
by lizzym2
I rarely go here because it's such a pain to get in and out of the parking lot. When you do get in the store is often very crowded. Prices are much higher than at other thrift stores and the store feels dirty. Also, some of the employees are rude (not all of them, but enough to make me not enjoy shopping there).
- Pros: large selection
- Cons: rude staff, high prices, bad parking
Pretty good for a thrift store
by Freshgirl
For a thrift shop. I was pleasantly surprised. There is a ton of clothes, for all shapes and sizes. The prices are alittle higher than your normal salvation army or goodwill, but I found better names and more slection here. So I would recommend stopping and taking a look. It will probably be worth your time.
- Pros: ALOT of clothes, shoes and alittle of everything
- Cons: Accepts cash only, no dressing room, parking
