So disgusting – I wish i could rate it lower. If you like 2348759308257209384 lbs of grease, then you'll love this pizza. I literally can't even think about Fiori's without getting nauseous.
third best in the area – I organized a series of events, posted on two social websites, in which I led a group of people to 27 different pizza parlors in the greater Pittsburgh area, searching for the best pies that Western PA has to offer. My single favorite was the Cinco Fromaggio (five cheese) from Church Brew Works, but it was the only pizza there that I would even recommend. My overall favorite shop was Upper Crust on Dorseyville Rd; we tried many selections, and every single one of them was excellent! Rounding out third place, I'd recommend Fiori's just off West Liberty Ave. Blue collar pizza in a a blue collar atmosphere, with sweet sauce, fresh crust and good cheese!
Best pizza that I've ever had anywhere! – A couple of years back, my family was told by a friend that we just HAD to try this "hole-in-the-wall" pizzaria downtown called Fiori's. Pizza is my favorite food, & I'm pretty sure about what I like & do not like, so I was kind of skeptical walking into this old, little pizza shop. But as soon as I tasted it, I immediately fell in love with it!
The combination of cheeses gives the pizza a mouth-watering flavor. The sauce isn't pasty & there isn't too much. The crust is the perfect thickness & has the perfect crunch. It's simply the best!
Not only do they do pizza right, but my family loves their subs & their wings. I see people getting pasta in there a lot as well, which looks very good.
One of the only drawbacks is that it's not as good reheated. In order to fully appreciate how fantastic this pizza is, you have to eat it in the restaurant. It tends to get crowded at all hours of the day, but it truly is worth the wait!
My family craves this pizza & drives almost an hour to eat here -- it's very much worth the drive!
Best Pizza I've ever had!! – I stopped in on a whim as I was driving through Pittsburgh on my way home to Michigan. The pizza was so good...I turned around and bought a second pizza to bring home to my friends in Detroit.
Even reheated it was amazing!
Previous Worker – I previously was employed at Fiori's and although I left for personal reasons I must say Fiori's is the best Pizza in Pgh. The sauce is to die for the cheese is mouthwatering the chicken sandwiches are crazily good. Meatballs spectacular. Everything is good about this place actually.
FREAKING FABULOUS!!! No other words!! – I moved to the Dormont area 2 years ago... My friend grew up in Beechview and told me I HAVE to go to Fiori's for their pizza... so I went... I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! It is hands down the best pizza I have ever had! I go there AT LEAST twice a month, if not more! I am a big time pizza lover... and I have had nothing better... I do not understand how people think Beto's pizza is better... I think it is disgusting! The sauce at Fiori's is sweeter... and I love it! The cheese is amazing... And if you order the crust "well done" it is the best! The only flaw is that they cut the pizza fresh out of the oven before letting it settle.... But if you have a pizza cutter at home you are fine! I have never been there (even at 2AM) and not seen a line... It stinks they don't deliver... BUT IT'S WORTH THE PICK UP! Trust me.... GIVE IT A TRY! (And don't go to Beto's!)
Simply The Best – I do not know how this Top 10 list was put together, but it's totally wrong. How could Fiori's not be number one? I have tried Frank's and it does not hold a candle to Fiori's. Fiori's crust, sauce, and atmosphere is second to none. Ordering a large pepperoni pizza, cold cheese on the side, with a friend is the way to go. The guys who work there are an experience in and of itself. Fab joking around or Fiori himself asking you how you have been, you can always count on getting treated well there. You can always count on Fiori's for a great pie. For those of you who have yet to try Fiori's, you are missing out. I suggest you try it next time you get a craving for pizza; I promise the experience will be exceptional.
Best Pizza EVER !!!!!! – I have been going to Fiori's for years. I have lived all over the world, and there is no better pizza period. Fiori, Joe, Kevin, They all make a great Pie. I now live in Montana and I truely miss the boys. When I go home I stop at Fioris before I even go see my Mother!! Hey its on the way from the airport. You got to love the crowd, even late night which is when it tastes the best. Open till 3 AM got to love that. As far as parking , hey its Pittsburgh what do you expect. If you have never been then shame on you. By the way the hoagies are also awesome!!! Thanks guys for all the hard work.
Just tasty. – Was told it was the best pizza some people have ever had. And it was tasty. It was one of the better pizzas I have had in Pittsburgh. The sauce was tasty (sorry to keep using the word) and sweet, almost too sweet when I are some without cheese. The crust had a nice flavor. The cheese wasn't rubbery or too salty.
Unfortunately, the toppings are mediocre/ bland in freshness/ taste. Too bad, in an other wise decent pie. PURELY PERSONAL POINT (NOT a factor in my rating) the style of pizza here is not my preferred style. I like my pizza true traditional Italian, or it's Italian-American first cousin- a real NY pizza.
Fiori's is good. There is nothing inherently wrong. Everything was good in it's own way. The unexceptional 3 stars are a result of the toppings issue (I've had better cheeses and meats, and fresher veggies on my pizza), and I felt there wasn't enough sauce on their "traditional" pie to balance the flavors/ amount of cheese and crust. I apologize to all you Fiori fans, I really wanted to love it. But it just doesn't get beyond tasty for me.
Simply the best! – Fiori's pizza is a Pittsburgh trademark - it's known as one of the best places to get pizza for good reason. It tastes the best, especially with the cold cheese on top. That sounds so simple but it's a great concept and makes their pizza unique.
The crowd gets a little weird late night, lots of drunks - that's the only thing I don't like about it. But that says nothing about the pizza, which has no cons, and that's what's important.
