Terrible service, worse management.
I thought I'd give them another chance after my birthday blunder several years ago where they didn't follow instructions so well with the surprise party my friends threw for me. I ended up paying the bill because they had it so messed up!
Figured it had been several years so I bought a Groupon. Typically, these are good for a year. This was good for only 6 months and I had forgotten about it - my bad! Other Groupon's I had purchased allowed me to use them after the expiration - after all, I paid for them. Not so with Getaway Cafe. They gave me the run around for over a week with telling me to contact the owner. I tried 5 times unsuccessful. Then, the person that told me to contact the owner, claiming to be part of management, says they refuse to accept the Groupon. It only expired less than a week ago and I've tried calling every day. Needless to say, they have affirmed my prior thoughts that they are NOT customer friendly and they are NOT interested in my business. I'm betting they are not all that interested in yours either!!!!

nice place. food is delicious,staff is great,beer is ice cold !!! i like the get away cafe alot !!! Mike T.

Great Atmosphere. The food was excellent and the service was terrific. The best part was they are completely smoke free now so you can eat your food and not worry about cigarette smoke bothering you while youe eat and drink! Can't wait to go back!

Excellent Customer Service!. Food Delicious - Feta Bruccheta best I ever had! Employees couldn't have been more accomadating to me and my family. I highly recommend this family restaurant! Be sure and try the wings!

Lousy service!!. My husband and I stopped today for lunch. We stood at the hostess desk for several minutes, and no one came around. So we seated ourselves at the first table. After waiting for five minutes, (we timed it) and being completely ignored by 2 waitresses in the dining room, we got up and left. We can spend our money anywhere - and we did!
