The Scene
Walk in and be transported back to a time when three-egg omelets and gravy-covered meat loaf were considered high-class fare. Sixteen booths (12 smoking, four non-) and ample counter seating fill out the front room, with additional tables placed in a slightly more dressed-up back room. The music here is on your classic vinyl 45s, with about 70 artists on tap. The crowd is a grab bag of professionals, blue-collared locals, students and retired couples. In other words, everyone comes here.

The Food
Expect all the typical diner favorites like burgers and fries, meatloaf plates and breakfast 24 hours a day. The bagel breakfast sandwich is better than anything you'll find at a fast food joint. The pancakes are stacked high and the feta omelette is just the first of many Mediterranean-influenced offerings.
