Editorial Review for Paul's Compact Discs – by David C. Madden
The Scene
Paul's is nice and small. As you walk in, look to your right for the finely-stacked mag rack, copies of the latest releases and the modest yet noteworthy used bin. The racks expand on all the walls, with a large island on the floor ahead of you. To your left, by the register, be sure to check out the recent album recommendations by Paul's staff.
The Analog
For vinyl lovers, Paul's is either beautiful or a nightmare. There's not much for people looking for classic vinyl; the store stocks itself only with new releases. But, for anyone looking for current indie or punk releases, Paul's gives you the option of buying records or discs.
What You'll Spend
While Paul's isn't a used CD store, it often has used CD prices. By offering CDs at anywhere between $10-$14, Paul's delivers a nice and healthy blow to the overpriced face of mall record outlets, while retaining a loyal clientele.

HintIf you can't find it, it may be hidden in "Miscellaneous" or stocked behind the counter. Just ask.
