The Skinny
Paddy Cake is like most bakeries. Walk in, take a number and start staring at all the treats that taste so good. The bakery surrounds the waiting area on three sides with donuts, tarts, pastries, everything, so that the wait feels almost confining: if you are the type of person who cannot resist the temptation of sweets, you may go crazy at the offerings.
The Cakes
In addition to your standard birthday and party cakes, Paddy Cake is as good a place to go for your wedding-cake needs as any; just be sure to give the kind ladies six to eight weeks' notice. Bring in a design culled from your favorite bridal mags, or peruse through the bakery's catalog. Expect to pay about $2 per serving, and relax while Paddy Cake takes care of the delivery.

My wedding cake not only looked wonderful the compliments I recieved on the taste were outstanding. I live in the South Hills and sometimes it is convient to pick bake goods up at a grocery store but there is no comparism! Best donuts!!!

Growing up in Bloomfield, Paddy Cake Bakery was always one of my favorite places to stop. Even after moving to the North Hills, I still continued to venture to Paddy Cake for their wide selection of delectable desserts. Everything in the store is always FRESH and their customer service is outstanding!! When it finally came time to order my wedding cake, it was the only bakery I would consider. They promptly set up an appointment with me where I sampled all kinds of yummy fillings. The manger was was such a pleasure to work with; she took time to go through all of the details and helped to incorporate my own ideas. When the cake arrived on my wedding day it was even more beautiful than I had imagined. All of my guests raved about how moist and tasty the cake was!!!
