Medical and Business Programs. Go to Community College and stop being lazy...it's much cheaper than you think. You also need the classes that they offer. So don't think you need a speedy crash coarse at Kaplan, because you wont learn. The students cheat and the teachers pass you. If your in the medical field, go get your CNA for free at your local Nursing Home. Then let your job pay for nursing school. COMMUNITY COLLEGE has better MEDICAL and BUSINESS program. You learn so much more, whether it be 18 weeks or 2 years...YOU SET THE PACE. This is the best advice you can possibly read from a current student... jump on that!

DO NOT GO TO KAPLAN!!!!. I signed up for day classes in the business program. They had your adverage class schedule of two hour classes two-three times a week. Four months into the progam, they switched up things up and decided to give all students 6 hour classes everyday. For example: every Monday 8am-2pm Math, Tuesday 8am-2pm Business, Wednesday 8am-2pm Advertising, ...and so on. I DID NOT sign up to sit in one class room, for 6 hours to learn NOTHING. They teachers dont teach, and the ones who try to get shut down by all of the ghetto fabolous students.

When I went to financial aid to sign up for monthly payments, they had me sign papers for monthly payments but also slipped me ANOTHER student loan DOUBLING my previous one.

This is my last semester, I now have to take day classes (8am-2pm) night classes (5:30pm-10:30pm) AND do an externship (that I had to find myself) just to graduate.

But I might not graduate, even tho I get ALL of my work done because Kaplan goes by these things called Professionalism Point (yes, like we are in junior high) and you will not get your Professionalism points if you dont come to class. Well, I am sorry, I am not sitting in class with shanaynay and shaniqua from homestead talking about how much they hate their babydaddys.

If you are white stay away. This is strickly for the blacks and people who just go to school so their welfare wont end.

Lies. "15 months and your done, You'll have a great career and everything will magically fall into place! WRONG!" Kaplan tells you what you want to hear. They suckered me in with the 15 months thing, I thought to myself, "WOW, I'll be done in no time!" What they fell to tell you is you take classes that won't always tranfer. I was enrolled in Fashion Merchandising. My plans were to go to Kaplan, graduate, then transfer. I went to talk to the Admissions office at another school that the credits will transfer to and found out alot. All those credits I just paid almost 30,000 for won't count. They don't even offer Fashion merchandising, so I had to chose between business and advertising. I chose advertising, I would need 128 minimum to get a BA, I already had 106 so I thought I was good to go. All those fashion classes were worthless, they could only count as electives and I only needed 15, I had 48. My math credit wasn't even excepted. I felt so dumb, I just spent all this money for nothing at all. Money I really had no say so in because Kaplan's financial aide does everything. Yeah, this was good at first I didn't have to do any work, but when you start recieving letters from different banks its not that good. I had no idea what was going on, and of course you want to know because its your money, but they give you no choice they do it all. I'm just trying to save anyone I can, this school is not a good school. So save your time and money, DON'T DO IT, the fast and easy way is not always the good way. If you want a good career amd you really want to learn about it, and not just get information jammed in so they can get you out by 15 months, please go somewhere else. Your education, your money, YOUR CHOICE!! Chose wisely!!!!

I enrolled right out of school and thought it would be a good start for my future... was I wrong. I consider this the worst mistake of my life! Do not go to this school.. First thing first...

My accounting class was taught by a fashion teacher because they could not find anyone else to do it.

If you want to continue your education ....NOBODY will except the credits.

Do yourself a favor and go to a good school.. names do matter.. Pitt, Penn Sate, etc...

PARENTS..... DO NOT LET YOUR CHILDREN GO TO THIS SCHOOL..

The last time I saw my advisor was when I signed the paperwork.. after that never heard from him.

All of my friends I made at that school have had to go back to school..(had to start over).

My best friend graduated with a 4.0 (The only one) and could not get a good job in our field.

Do a lot of research on your school.... DO NOT TAKE THIER WORD FOR IT,

Good luck.... Study Hard... Knowledge is freedom.....

PS: I am currently enrolled in Penn State...

If I stopped one person from going to this school it was worth the time.
