Personalized. The office on Market Square is small and the service seems personalized (compared with some offices that just seem like a giant factory). The doc seems very competent and did a beautiful job on a root canal and crown. It all started with a broken filling, and they were pretty quick about getting me in for a first appointment, even though I was not an existing patient.

Please go to another dentist. Although this dentist office offers convenient hours and several locations throughout the Pittsburgh region, please do not make the mistake I did by going here. Before shelling out thousands of dollars on dental work that they recommend, please, please get a second opinion first! I ignored all the bad reviews since I assumed only patients with horrible experiences were angry enough to write something. However, I encourage you to check the Better Business Bureau as there are numerous complaints against this dentist. The staff is incompetent, and I was often billed for services that were performed nearly a year ago. Every time I went in to the office, I was informed of another bill that was due. I am afraid that much of the work I had completed while I was a patient at Emmert was unnecessary. Do yourself a favor, and go to another dentist!

The worst experience I've ever had. I was fighting with this dentist office for almost 10 month… they decided that it’s too much work to fulfill requirements of my insurance and they haven’t submit appropriate papers and my insurance of course didn’t pay them. They were harassing me for 4 month even thought I explain there person, who suppose to take care of paperwork… I believe Stephaney… so she has never call me back and refused to do anything at all and to talk to me. I was calling many times… maybe 15 or more… so I did all the work myself and talk to my insurance and actually its done… so I’m calling them right now and the same thing – they busy and don’t want to talk to me at all…. So they were harassing me demanding 500$ and when I resolved everything they now owe me 50$ instead. But they refused not even return me money but even talk to me.
