Currently, the Benedum's 2,800-seat capacity and resplendent interior hosts the performance season for the Civic Light Opera, the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, the Pittsburgh
Opera, and the Pittsburgh Dance Council--which brings to town some truly amazing, internationally known choreographers and modern dance companies.

Of course, the theater is also available for rental by outside parties, so there are presentations on a regular basis such as the jazz stylings of George Benson or the magic of David Copperfield.
