Wonderful Place!. After a call to a major chain hair salon on two days prior to Thanksgiving, I was told that "no way" they could take my appointment (sounding almost annoyed that I called.) Since I worked in the Strip, I remembered "Hair by Design" on Penn Ave. Not only is the staff just the nicest on the planet, they graciously made me feel welcome and did a superb job with my color and cut.

They now have a new customer forever and their pricing was very very competitive. This place has been in business for over 25 years; going to an individually, localled owned shop is something I have been missing out on for a number of years. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone. They talk to you like a friend and not a customer; This place is truly delightful indeed.
