I've been going to Bravo's for years now as a prelude to attending events in the Cultural District. You can't beat the proximity to the shows. Service is quite good, wine list is creative, and the menu is very good if perhaps a little pedestrian.

We wanted to eat before the show and we saw Bravo Franco, went in and said we did not have a reservation, they were booked but the hostess was very gracious and seated us at the bar, Dan and Nick waited on us. My guy ordered a steak and I ordered stuffed shrimp and I want to tell you they both were great. This was the best steak my guy has had so far. Dan and Nick made sure customers were all taken care of and very nice.I would recommend this place again and oh one more thing, we had dessert, oh my gosh - apple crisp was devine...thanks Bravo Franco, you made our night.

Thursday evening at 8:30. We're the only folks in the restaurant!!! Granted only the speaker series is happening at Heinz hall and some people are trinkling in for coffee after. The food was so delicious tonight. Wonderful wild salmon with salsa, sundried tomatos and scallions! Scrumptous. Done to perfection.

After a disappointing dinner at a different Italian restaurant a couple of weeks earlier, my wife and I decided to try Bravo Franco on Penn Ave. I must say, it was a very good choice. I had the Linguini Pescatoria and my wife had the Bowties and Salmon. To say the least......both were excellent! Our server was very knowledgeable on the preparation of the food. Greatly appreciated when there are so many choices. Nice change from those servers that think that taking your order and bringing the food out from the kitchen is worth 15%.

The food was wonderful, the service was great and the prices reasonable. Kudo's to the gang at Bravo Franco! And......A special thanks to Carol for treating us so nice........we'll bring friends the next time Carol!!

A tip to first timers......if you're not going to one of the shows, you'll miss the crowd if you plan on dining after 8:00 p.m. The place is very busy on show nights.

We had a great experience. Was here once before and this place does not disappoint. Our server made me experience. They are the front line of the business.
