Great Lunch. Made just as requested. Steak was tender and grilled to perfection. HIGHLY recommended for LUNCH and for BREAKFAST.

Bad Food, Worse Service. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for an enjoyable dining experience. I have read several reviews disparaging the service of Deluca's, and today I witnessed it firsthand. We waited for thirty minutes for a horrible experience. The waitress argued with me after bringing out food that I did not order and was reluctant to take it off the bill thereafter. The food is not worth the hassle. I recommend the Dorstop in Dormont for better food and nicer people.

Great food and atmosphere. Want to enjoy the Strip and all the atomosphere. Have breakfast at De Luca's. It is Pittsburgh. Food was awesome. Place was packed for good reason. Service was all over the place. I mean most all waiters and waitress stopped and asked if I needed anything throughout my breakfast; not just the waitress really assigned to my table. The menu is wide. The pancakes are to die for. Have to try it if you are in the Strip any day of the week. You won't be dissapointed

Line out the door - WORTH THE WAIT. This breakfast was excellent. I ordered OM the way I like it. Crispy bacon, green pepper, cheese, zuch, onion. The OM filled half the plate. The crispy bacon was CRISPY. It was inside and on top of OM. The other half of the plate was hash browns. Coffee was very, very good. Worth the wait. Waited in line for ~30 minutes. Everyone was friendly and patient. The weather was nice. Will go back this weekend

NOT WORTH THE WAIT. I do not recommend this diner to anyone looking for good food or service. The food is NOT WORTH THE WAIT. We waited for twenty five minutes for a the waitress to ignore us. GO TO PAMELA's

Just OK. With all the hoopla, I just could not wait and finally did make it to DeLucas. Sad to say it is overrated and overpriced. My spinich/feta omlet was overpowered by the feta cheese which should only be used to accent the taste of well seasoned sauted spinich and my home fries(diced) were "mealy" and bland they did not appear fresh cut. The back of the booth that I sat in was so loose that each time the gentleman behind me leaned or moved I was bounced around as though I was on a ride at Kennywood. Leaving, I mentioned and showed the waitress that the backrest was very loose and that it made eating very uncomfortable...she told me she had already told the owner that it needed fixed. That would take a screwdriver and10 min....if that!

The wait staff was efficient and nice

Don't Listen to Negative Reviews. Very good food as well as service. Not recommended if you are not looking for a fast paced environment. Service of employees is friendly, however they do not pay much attention to people located at the front door. DO NOT SEAT YOURSELF! Bacon is very good if you request for extra black or dark bacon. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good cheap meal.

DO NOT GO..... Waiting was not as bad as the service I got.

I should have listened to the other reviews on how bad the service was....

I didn't imagine it would be that bad........

I would rather die of starvation rather than eating at deluca's again....

Worst Experience Ever, Horrible Customer Srvc, rude waitress, below average food.. Horrible customer service, very poor wait staff and hostess and below average food. I was expecting a whole lot more when I arrived. Took over 1 hr to get food, while tables around us came and went. Waitress ignored us the whole time and after my mom stated she was diabetic, she still ignored us. We were told they do not need our business, they will do just fine... see how busy we are... in front of the whole restuarant. Waitress got our order wrong and threw the plate in a pail of dirty dishes. Never once did they appologize or offer us anything. Would never recommend anyone ever going there... save time and money and go to Denny's.

Bad, bad, bad. Success has gone to their heads. I went years ago and loved this place. Recently, took visiting friends and family only to be shocked at their rudeness and sorely disappointed in the whole experience. Long wait to order (20 minutes), longer wait to receive food (30 minutes). This is breakfast, not a gourmet dinner. But even worse than that, everyone who worked there treated us as if we should be grateful that we got in the door. Would not recommend to anyone.
