The Scene
It's not cozy and it's not quaint. The dank atmosphere seems to have been contrived in an effort to prohibit diners from clearly seeing the decorative beer mirrors, wooden benches, and flour-doused countertops. Vincent's is a dive bar that just happens to serve pie.
The Food
Portions are huge. It's amazing that the pie pan manages to contain two-inches of thick crust, bubbling cheese, and fresh toppings. More dough than anything, this pizza is a bread-lovers dream. Vincent's ladles just enough of the red stuff to moisten the crust and add a hint of tangy flavor before sprinkling with stringy cheese. And although it's possible the banter between the owner and the waitress is dryly amicable, it seems unlikely. This pie-shop is not in the service industry, so takeout's the call here.

I always go to the Vincen'ts in Plum - very friends, great pie. Grew up with the Vincen'ts in Forest Hills. I haven't been there in years and probably will never go back there again after my experience their yesterday. Called to order a pie, got this horrible miserable man. From some of the other reviews on here, I think this must be the owner - what a miserable individual. I will never go back their again. p.s. must say the pie was very good!

The photo for Vincent's does not do the place any justice as the building has been painted and does not look that badly. There was only one waitress in the dining area, but an off-duty cheery employee decided to help out since she was there to watch the game. The pizza is excellent! Period. We went to eat great pizza and that's exactly what we got! Great pizza and not so bad service for only one waitress on duty. If you want to experience an awesome pizza, by all means, GO!
