Editorial Review for Drew's Restaurant – by Sam Edelmann
The Scene
The restaurant is a step or two up from the classic diner, with big windows, large seating areas, and plenty of elbow room.
The Food
Breakfast is served anytime, and there are all sorts of omelets and egg combinations. There is an outstanding corned beef hash here, with small pieces of corned beef fried together with homefries, onions, and green pepper, topped with two poached eggs. Lunches revolve around salads, stacked sandwiches, burgers, and "melts," grilled sandwiches stuffed with meats or tuna fish salad.
If You Order One Thing
The traditional hot sandwiches (roast beef, turkey, or meatloaf), served with potatoes and lots of gravy.

Cool DownA bonus of the place are the real milk shakes and malteds, topped with whipped cream.

I've been here for breakfast twice. The first time was awesome. I ordered waffles with fruit and whipped cream and they were great (large, fluffy, fruity, warm). The second time I ordered eggs, toast, and potatoes, and was very disappointed. They were cooked in an insane amount of margarine. I love butter, but in moderation, and I detest margarine. If you're like me, stick with the sweeter breakfast items.
