Decent Gym. This gym is decent. The friendly people who work the counter are always nice and seem to be glad to help you. The gym is decently clean and fairly uncrowded. The only downside of this gym is the shady way in which they handle it. They do not say prices over the telephone and seem very shifty to all things that involve money. I'm not sure if this is because that's how you are supposed to run a business because i have never run a business but it seems to be very shady. Besides that, i love this gym. The other members are wonderful and most of the staff is downright friendly. I suggest joining this gym if you don't want an overcrowded gym filled with unfriendly people. However, the fees are rather expensive but i believe they are worth it.

Nice Gym.... I have been a member of Extreme Fitness for over five years and I would not train anywhere else. The place is well equipped, clean and the members are generally nice people. I think that the pricing structure tends to keep out the "riff-raff" that you find most low priced gyms. If you are considering joining a gym...Its definately worth checking out. Hope this helps...

Horrible Customer Service. This gym is highly overrated. Their initiation fees are ridiculous. The moron manager would rather give up a year membership from 2 people than waive or lessen the initiation fee (when just 2 weeks ago they were having this very same promotion). Very smart business tactics especially when we will be taking our business down the road to Amerifit.

This gym is a filthy, overpriced ripoff!!!. Totally screwed me over. Initiation fee is a ridiculous $99. I signed up during the last few days of the month and before I did I asked if there were any specials coming up. I was told "No." Well, starting in August, initiation was FREE (as it is twice per year I have learned). I asked for a refund for my initiation fee and was told that it wouldn't be fair to the person who had to do the "work" to initiate me. I told them that the person was untruthful with me in telling me that they had no upcoming specials. To this they said that no one knows when the specials are. This is a lie as they are every August and sometime in January or February (can't remember which).

In addition to this it is FILTHY!!! The shower room is always out of soap and has mildew growing in the steam room and showers. I got the worst case of athlete's foot I have ever had in my life (I wear flip-flops). The steamroom is unusable anyhow because the steam has no low setting, it just blasts out at an ear-shattering shriek (not relaxing at all).

I am going to cancel and go to the nearby Amerifit.

Editorial Review by Leilani A. Wertens. Gym facilties with fitness options ranging from free weights and cardio training equipment to group exercise classes like spinning and aerobics. Other amenities include a juice bar, men's and women's steam rooms and massage therapy.
